Diddy’s Celebrity Friends Given Opportunity to Settle Out of Court to Evade Public Lawsuit, Claims Attorney Tony Buzbee

Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee is reportedly serving as legal representative for approximately 120 individuals who have accused Sean “Diddy”Combs of various offenses. According to Buzbee, many of the rapper’s high-profile associates are exploring private settlements to evade public litigation.

In comments made to TMZ on October 7, 2024, Buzbee confirmed that he has dispatched a demand letter to numerous celebrities implicated in Diddy’s controversies, urging them to consider a private resolution.

The attorney noted that a number of prominent figures have already reached settlements with their alleged victims. As reported by The Daily Mail, Buzbee stated that in scenarios similar to Diddy’s, efforts are made to “resolve the issues”without resorting to public lawsuits.

“In every single instance, notably in cases like this, we strive to resolve these matters without public lawsuits, which is often best for the victims. We’ve successfully done this with several individuals, many of whom you would recognize,” he elaborated.

During a press briefing on October 1, 2024, Buzbee outlined that he is representing in excess of 120 alleged victims of Diddy, some of whom have leveled serious accusations of misconduct against the rapper. Notably, 25 of these claimants were minors at the time of the asserted incidents, with one victim as young as nine years old.

Diddy has steadfastly denied these claims, with his legal representatives dismissing the fresh allegations as “meritless.”In a statement to ABC13, lawyer Erica Wolff commented that Diddy “cannot respond to every baseless accusation”amidst what she described as a “reckless media frenzy.”

Wolff expressed that the rapper is eager to “establish his innocence and clear his name in court,”emphasizing that the truth will be determined by “evidence rather than speculation.”

“That being said, Mr. Combs vehemently and categorically denies any accusations of sexual abuse or assault, including those involving minors,”Wolff stated.

Tony Buzbee’s Commitment to Pursue Those Who Covered for Diddy

As reported by the New York Post, Tony Buzbee expressed his intention to “aggressively”pursue actions against individuals who allegedly concealed Diddy’s supposed misconduct. He highlighted that those who witnessed the events and remained silent bear responsibility as well.

Buzbee remarked that numerous individuals were aware of “these activities”and “permitted”them to occur without intervention or comment. He claimed all such individuals had knowledge but opted not to act on it.

The attorney acknowledged a growing interest in identifying various celebrities tied to Diddy’s alleged sexual misdeeds, but stated that he would refrain from naming anyone in the immediate future. He recognized the potential “firestorm”their exposure could cause, advising that his team is still in the process of verifying facts.

In his conversation with TMZ, Buzbee revealed that his office had received thousands of calls from people claiming to be victims of Diddy. He reiterated the importance of carefully vetting these testimonies before adding them to the expanding list of accusers.

The initial set of lawsuits is expected to be filed shortly, targeting the “corporate entities”that allegedly supported the rapper in his criminal activities.

Diddy’s Upcoming Court Appearance

Sean Combs was taken into custody on September 16, 2024, facing charges related to sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution. Following his arraignment on September 17, the rapper was denied bail and is currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center, awaiting his next court appearance on October 9.

The indictment alleges that Combs drugged and coerced women into performing sex acts with male escorts, referred to as “freak offs.”These purported events were recorded and allegedly utilized as blackmail to silence victims. Evidence related to the “freak offs”was reportedly found during raids on his properties in March 2024.

Authorities also confiscated firearms, drugs, and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil from his residences. Attorney Marc Agnifilo maintained that his client is innocent, asserting that all participants in the “freak offs”were consenting adults.

In addition to facing federal charges and a wave of new accusers, Diddy is also contending with a dozen lawsuits from various individuals alleging abuse, rape, and assault. The first lawsuit was initiated by his former partner, Cassie Ventura.

She claimed that Diddy raped her and subjected her to a pattern of abuse over the course of a decade in November 2023. Although Diddy has refuted these allegations, a video from 2016 depicting him assaulting Ventura came to light in May 2024.
