“We have the chance to select a new generation of leaders for our nation. We are here to back the future President of the United States: Kamala, Kamala Harris, ladies and gentlemen.”
Despite the enthusiasm for Kamala Harris, Usher’s endorsement was met with criticism from some social media users. Many netizens brought up Usher’s supposed ties to Diddy’s “Freak-Off”parties.
Following the circulation of the rally footage on X, individuals took to the platform to raise their alarms regarding Usher’s support, given his alleged friendship with Diddy.
“Diddy tapes got something to do with this whole thing,” one user remarked.
Other users echoed similar sentiments, with one asserting that Usher seemed fond of “Diddy Parties”and questioning Harris’s representation. Speculation arose that Harris may have assisted Usher in dealing with Diddy’s purported tapes.
“These @diddy tapes are causing a whole bunch of celebrities to come crawling out of the woodwork for Kamala. Interesting,” commented one user.
“Is he truly the representative you desire? He enjoys Diddy Parties, and she seemingly did too,” noted another.
“Kamala Harris probably assured him that Diddy’s tapes will vanish,” claimed a user.
Many others vocalized their agreement, alleging that Usher is entangled in Diddy’s controversies, even labeling him as the rapper’s “protege.”Among the reactions was a notable comment:
“So, she’s shifting from the Epstein list to the Diddy list… And this is meant to make me want to vote for her?” inquired one user.

He asserted that he supports Harris due to her purported defense of individual freedoms, noting her policies focus on creating opportunities for all, promoting small businesses, and investing in communities and healthcare.
Usher reminded the Atlanta crowd of the essential work ahead to ensure the campaign’s success, stating,
“We have work to do to get this campaign through to the finish. Georgia can make a difference in this election, but we must be committed to doing so… We’ve experienced some very unfortunate realities from our past. However, we must learn from those times and recognize that our voices are crucial in shaping the outcomes we want.”
While addressing the audience, the rapper stressed the significance of the forthcoming election, proclaiming,
“With only 17 days left, we have the opportunity to select a new generation of leadership. I am here to support the next president of the United States, Kamala Harris.”
Nonetheless, Usher’s affiliation with Sean “Diddy”Combs, who faced allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering in September, has placed him under scrutiny. As reported by CBS News in August 2017, he was also linked to a court case involving claims of exposing individuals to herpes.
According to a Tribune report from October 19, 2024, several incidents were settled out of court, with Usher denying the allegations. However, as Harris’s campaign advances, the singer’s connection to Diddy is attracting increased attention.
