Diddy Sexual Abuse Hotline Number: Lawyer Tony Buzbee’s Co-Counsel Reveals 3,000 Allegations Received
In the wake of Diddy’s arrest on September 16, 2024, legal representatives from the AVA Law Group and Buzbee Law Firm established the Diddy sexual abuse hotline. This initiative offers a platform for individuals to report allegations of abuse against the rapper.
On October 1, 2024, attorney Tony Buzbee, along with co-counsel Andrew Van Arsdale, held a press conference to update the public on the revelations from the hotline. Addressing the significant number of individuals who have allegedly reported abuse, Van Arsdale stated:
“Never ever in a 10-day period have we seen over 3,000 people come forward.”
The co-counsel further revealed that they have prepared 120 lawsuits on behalf of alleged victims claiming to have endured sexual assault by the rapper known for his hit song “Last Night”.
Additionally, Andrew Van Arsdale urged other victims to come forward with their experiences. He also called on individuals who might know someone who has suffered abuse to step up and contact the hotline at 1-800-200-7474.
“This is an important matter that we intend to aggressively pursue”- Tony Buzbee comments on hotline calls
Diddy was taken into custody at a hotel in New York City in September 2024 and was subsequently indicted by a grand jury on serious charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. The rapper has pleaded not guilty to all accusations and is currently awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
According to a report from The Mirror on October 1, Diddy’s attorney, Erica Wolf, stated that the rapper “emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any allegation of sexual abuse against him, including that of minors”.
Wolf expressed Diddy’s eagerness to clear his name and prove his innocence during the court proceedings, emphasizing the importance of establishing the truth based on solid evidence rather than speculation.
During the press conference conducted by Tony Buzbee and Andrew Van Arsdale, Buzbee emphasized:
“This is an important matter that we intend to aggressively pursue. We will leave no stone unturned to identify all potentially liable parties, including any individuals or entities that participated in or benefited from this egregious behavior.”
Tony further revealed that the entertainment industry’s long-held secrets are finally being uncovered, stating, “The wall of silence has now been broken, and victims are coming forward”. During the briefing, it was shared that among the various claimants, 25 were minors, with two aged 14 and 15 at the time of the alleged abuse by the rapper.
The hotline reports indicated that Diddy’s range of alleged victims includes both men and women, aged between 9 and 38 years. The abuse reportedly spanned over two decades, from the early 2000s to the 2010s.
In the press conference, Buzbee vowed to expose those who enabled Diddy’s alleged misconduct behind the scenes. He stated that they would pursue the investigation regardless of who might be implicated by the evidence.
Tony also mentioned that there is a growing list of others being accused alongside Diddy, and some of these names are anticipated to cause shockwaves.
