Diddy Avoids Food in Prison Due to Paranoia of Poisoning, Says Ex-Inmate Larry Levine

Sean “Diddy”Combs, currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC), has reportedly ceased eating while in custody out of fear of poisoning. As reported by News Nation, a source familiar with the rapper’s situation indicated that former inmate Larry Levine suggested Diddy is feeling “paranoid”and “scared”about the possibility of someone attempting to poison him.

“There are people out there that he has information on who possess a substantial amount of money. Imagine if someone was to pay someone off from the inside to actually poison his food, leading to a heart attack that could go unnoticed. That might be one reason he’s refusing to eat,” Levine shared with News Nation.

In addition to concerns over poisoning, Levine mentioned that Diddy might also be enduring a hunger strike or facing challenges with the quality of the prison food. He described the meals at the MDC as bland, consisting largely of “a lot of carbohydrates.”

“There’s mold in a lot of that food, and what he’s receiving is cold. It doesn’t come to him warm like it would in a regular housing unit because those in the shoe are served last. It’s possible he got sick from the food, which is another possibility,” Levine added.

Sean “Diddy”Combs was arrested on September 16, facing serious charges including “racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.”This followed a raid by Homeland Security on March 25 at his Los Angeles and Miami properties that unearthed evidence related to events described as “freak offs.”

The “freak offs”were characterized as “elaborate and produced s*x performances”allegedly organized by Diddy, which involved coercing women into engaging in sexual acts with male escorts. The indictment claimed that these women were often intoxicated with drugs such as ketamine, cocaine, and oxycodone, and the events were filmed without their consent.

What was Diddy’s first meal at the MDC?

Reports from The New York Post indicate that Diddy is provided with three meals daily at the Metropolitan Detention Center. His first meal post-arraignment consisted of Swedish meatballs, though he reportedly declined the alternative of a black bean burger. Sides included egg noodles, a garden salad, green beans, and a 16 oz beverage.

Combs is being held in the MDC’s Special Housing Unit (SHU), where his meals are served directly to his cell. He is allowed one hour of recreation per day and is permitted three showers each week. According to People Magazine, the rapper was in “shock”after being denied bail and is currently on suicide watch as a precautionary measure.

The Metropolitan Detention Center has a history of housing high-profile inmates, including R. Kelly, who was convicted of child sexual abuse, and Ghislaine Maxwell, an associate of Jeffrey Epstein. Inmates often refer to the MDC as “hell on earth”due to its poor living conditions, which include overflowing toilets, moldy showers, and pest infestations.

Currently, the MDC is said to hold approximately 1,600 inmates and is notorious for its hazardous conditions. Recent incidents, including the fatal stabbing of inmate Uriel Whyte and the death of Edwin Cordero during a jail fight, have raised serious concerns, along with the tragic suicides of several inmates over the past three years.

On September 17, Marc Agnifilo, Diddy’s lawyer, petitioned the judge to transfer his client to a different prison, arguing that the MDC is “not fit for pre-trial detention.”He also voiced his disappointment over what he views as “an unjust prosecution”of the rapper. In a statement to The Mirror US following Diddy’s arrest, he stated:

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Sean “Diddy” Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community.”

After pleading not guilty, Diddy was denied bail on September 17. The following day, Agnifilo appealed the no-bail ruling, but the request was again denied. The rapper’s next hearing is set for 2 PM on October 9, 2024.
