Diablo 4 Event Offers Players Opportunity to Unlock New Mounts

Get ready, Diablo 4 enthusiasts! The eagerly anticipated Lunar Awakening event is set to begin on February 4. This celebration honors the Chinese Lunar New Year and allows players to acquire the new Trag’Oul’s Consort mount and a variety of cosmetics.

This marks the second iteration of the Lunar New Year event since its debut in 2024 during the Season of the Construct. During the previous event, players enjoyed substantial bonuses: a 50% increase in experience gained and a 30% boost to movement speed from activating Lunar Shrines. Additionally, players received an extra 10% Glyph XP for completing Nightmare Dungeons, provided the Ancestors Favor Affix was activated. The event also included six unique cosmetic rewards, allowing players to collect Lunar New Year-themed outfits.

New Mount: Trag’Oul’s Consort

This year’s Lunar Awakening brings an exciting opportunity to unlock 10 levels of Ancestral Favor Reputation, allowing players to earn six unique cosmetics. One of these is the Trag’Oul’s Consort mount, adorned with vivid red accessories and intricate golden patterns. Other notable rewards include the Lunar Scepter, Dragon’s Courage, Moonshot Bow, Dragon’s Tapestry, and Moon’s Bounty. Furthermore, themed gear items will be featured in the Tejal Shop, including the Scholar of the Lonely Moon for Sorcerers and Dragon of the Lonely Moon mount armor.

The Lunar Awakening event provides an engaging activity as part of the ongoing Season of Witchcraft. Kicking off on January 21, this season introduces captivating new witchcraft powers, allowing players to summon explosive toads among 25 new sorcery powers, of which they can select six to enhance their characters. Other significant additions this season include new Headrotten enemies, eight new Unique items, new Legendary Affixes, and updates to existing runes.
