Weekly Update: Xur’s Features in Destiny 2
- Xur has returned this week in Destiny 2, offering a variety of exotic and legendary gear for players to discover.
- This week’s exotic armor options include Citan’s Ramparts, The Stag, and Ophidia Spathe.
- Players can also find exciting exotic weapons such as the new Hawkmoon, Two-Tailed Fox, Hard Light, and The Jade Rabbit.
Xur is back in Destiny 2 with an enticing inventory of exotic and legendary gear, available for a limited time. A significant week lies ahead for players, not only due to Xur’s arrival but also with new content slated to launch alongside Act 2. Furthermore, Bungie has announced the return of the Guardian Games for 2025. This edition promises a fresh Medallion competition, along with new twists and attractive rewards.
As players continue to engage with the ongoing Moments of Triumph, which kicked off with the March reset, opportunities abound to tackle challenges and earn various rewards. These include this year’s seal, a Bungie Rewards shirt, and an array of in-game items for those achieving specific milestone completions.
Location Update: Find Xur
Xur has now set up shop permanently in the Bazaar within The Tower, making it easier for players to locate him every weekend.

Located conveniently between two fast travel points, players can choose either to enter. Approach where Ikora and Hawthorne are situated, and navigate towards the Ramen Shop located on the back wall. Xur can be found in an alley to the right when facing the shop.
Navigating Class Armor and Exotic Ciphers
Xur continues to provide the standard weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Completing these quests is essential to buy a second fated engram and to obtain legacy exotic equipment from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new exotic cipher by participating in strikes and securing victories in Crucible or Gambit matches, with bonus points awarded for teaming up with clanmates or tackling tougher activities.
Exotic Armor Selection from Xur

The Stag – Warlock Helmet
Exotic Perk:
-
Your Rift provides damage reduction to allied Guardians. Grants Rift energy when critically wounded. On death, creates a healing rift at your corpse.
While it may not stand out against many favored exotics in Episode Heresy, this week’s roll comes in at a decent 67, making it a reasonable choice to replace less desirable collection rolls.
Stat Values (67 Total):
- Mobility: +12
- Resilience: +14
- Recovery: +8
- Discipline: +15
- Intellect: +12
- Strength: +6

Ophidia Spathe – Hunter Chest Armor
Exotic Perk:
-
Grants a second knife charge. Getting a final blow with a throwing knife provides temporary stacking damage bonuses for subsequent knives. Gambler’s Dodge resets the bonus timer.
This is an excellent choice for Gunslinger Hunters, especially given its high roll of 68. It’s a solid investment for any player looking to enhance their arsenal.
Stat Values (68 Total):
- Mobility: +4
- Resilience: +11
- Recovery: +21
- Discipline: +12
- Intellect: +2
- Strength: +18

Citan’s Ramparts – Titan Gauntlets
Exotic Perk:
-
You and allies can shoot through your Towering Barricade, but it takes increased damage from Guardians.
This item is particularly well-suited for PvP activities. However, it features a lower roll of 61, making it a less enticing option this week.
Stat Values (61 Total):
- Mobility: +2
- Resilience: +20
- Recovery: +9
- Discipline: +6
- Intellect: +14
- Strength: +10
