Overview of Xur’s Weekend Inventory
- Xur has made his return, bringing a fresh assortment of exotic armor, weapons, and additional gear for players in Destiny 2.
- This week’s featured exotic weapons include the Hawkmoon, Arbalest, Coldheart, and the D. A.R. C.I.sniper rifle.
- Among the exotic armor pieces available are Khepri’s Sting, Vesper of Radius, and the Antaeus Wards.
This weekend marks another visit from Xur in Destiny 2, providing players with a new set of exotic and legendary gear to explore, available for a limited time. Following the launch of Episode Heresy, a significant amount of new content has been introduced. However, the initial roll-out wasn’t without complications, as many players faced server and connectivity issues on launch day.
As the first weekend of Episode Heresy unfolds, Bungie is also initiating a new raid race for the Sundered Doctrine dungeon. The dungeon will engage players in Contest Mode over the course of 48 hours, with prizes for the first fireteam to emerge victorious. It’s important to note that certain exotics, including the Microcosm heavy trace rifle and the Lord of Wolves, along with specific mods and perks, have been disabled for this competitive event.
In addition to the dungeon race, Xur is back with an updated inventory of gear for eager Destiny 2 players.
Xur’s Location
Xur has established a permanent spot in the Bazaar area of The Tower, eliminating the need for players to search for him each weekend. To find Xur, simply head to the space between both fast travel points and locate the Ramen Shop at the back wall where Ikora and Hawthorne are situated. To the right of the shop lies an alley where Xur will be present.

Class Armor and Exotic Cipher Options
Xur’s offerings include weekly quests that allow players to acquire both exotic items and legendary gear. Completing these quests is essential for purchasing a second fated engram and obtaining legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players are rewarded with exotic ciphers by participating in strikes or winning matches in the Crucible or Gambit, with bonuses for playing alongside clan members or completing more difficult challenges.
Featured Exotic Armor from Xur

Vesper of Radius – Warlock Chest Armor
Exotic Perk:
-
Rifts release Arc shockwaves periodically, with final blows from these shockwaves generating Arc explosions. When equipped with an Arc Super, the shockwaves blind nearby enemies and rift energy regenerates rapidly in close proximity to foes.
This week’s offering displays high recovery stats but may be less effective in certain scenarios, particularly in player-versus-environment content.
Stat Breakdown (Total: 66):
- Mobility +2
- Resilience +4
- Recovery +30
- Discipline +6
- Intellect +18
- Strength +6

Khepri’s Sting – Hunter Gauntlets
Exotic Perk:
-
Striking an enemy with full melee energy instantly triggers a Smoke Bomb. Smoke Bombs deal enhanced damage, regenerate faster when stuck to surfaces, and provide Truesight when a target is damaged.
This exotic is particularly effective in PvP contexts for Void Hunters, though it comes with a comparatively low stat roll.
Stat Breakdown (Total: 61):
- Mobility +11
- Resilience +19
- Recovery +2
- Discipline +2
- Intellect +16
- Strength +11

Antaeus Wards – Titan Leg Armor
Exotic Perk:
-
Sliding with full class ability energy grants a frontal shield that reflects incoming damage for a limited time. The energy cost is proportional to the damage absorbed.
This exotic is situational but can provide significant advantages during engagements with the right timing and strategy.
Stat Breakdown (Total: 69):
- Mobility +7
- Resilience +16
- Recovery +13
- Discipline +10
- Intellect +7
- Strength +16

Xur’s Exotic Weapons
This year’s updates have enabled Xur to offer multiple exotic weapons per visit. This weekend, he has:

Final blows and precision hits with Hawkmoon stack Paracausal Charge. The final bullet in the magazine inflicts bonus damage determined by the number of stacks, but stowing the weapon before firing removes this bonus.

Arbalest – Linear Fusion Rifle

Fires slugs that inflict major damage to combatant shields, making it particularly effective against Barrier Champions.
-
Damaging an enemy’s shield with Arbalest benefits them with increased vulnerability to Kinetic damage for a brief period.

Coldheart – Trace Rifle
-
Projects a continuous Arc laser that inflicts increased damage on targets the longer it remains focused.
-
Generates Ionic Traces periodically while in its high-damage state.

D. A.R. C.I.– Sniper Rifle
-
Aiming at an enemy provides visibility into their health status and critical information via the scope.
-
When Personal Assistant is activated, D. A.R. C.I.improves target acquisition, increases precision damage, and jolts the target.
