Additionally, a comprehensive revamp of Trials of Osiris for PvP has set the stage for Heresy to be regarded as the strongest episode to date, although it has not been without its challenges, particularly concerning the launch complications with the Sundered Doctrine Dungeon and some voice acting elements. Nevertheless, it faces the potential for similar controversies as those experienced in the Revenant episode, particularly with the upcoming Iron Banner.
Historically, Episode Revenant marked a low point for the franchise due to several factors. One major issue was the introduction of a premium PvE weapon, which was frustratingly locked behind PvP activities and complicated by random rolls without a crafting option, compounded by Glimmer scarcity. The Warlord’s Spear: Destiny 2’s New Contender

Last episode, Tinasha’s Mastery briefly resided on the Reputation Track, causing disappointment among players who had already redeemed a reward from Lord Saladin. Reasons to Consider Farming Warlord’s Spear in Heresy
There is a strong possibility that Warlord’s Spear will emerge as a meta weapon during the Heresy chapter, especially in light of the current absence of trace rifle mods, although more Artifact mods will be unveiled in Acts 2 and 3. Revisiting the Controversial Nature of Warlord’s Spear Farming
If the existing farming mechanics for the new trace rifle remain unchanged, it is probable that Warlord’s Spear could mirror the backlash faced by Tinasha’s Mastery, creating unnecessary negativity for Heresy. Balancing the rewards from Reputation Track can be tricky since they vary weekly; thus, players may miss the opportunity to earn a coveted roll of Warlord’s Spear unless they are strategic about claiming rewards. Caution may be warranted, as players could choose to delay claiming Reputation Track rewards until just prior to resetting Saladin’s Rank. However, this tactic may not serve as a long-term solution.
