- Xur has returned to Destiny 2, bringing with him an array of fresh gear, weapons, resources, and exotics.
- This week, players can find Young Ahamkara’s Spine, Armamentarium, and Karnstein Armlets among Xur’s armor offerings.
- Xur’s exotic weapon selection includes a new roll of Hawkmoon, Sweet Business, Skyburner’s Oath, and The Queenbreaker.
Xur has made his reappearance in Destiny 2, featuring an exciting selection of exotic and legendary items available for a limited time. As Episode Heresy approaches its second weekend, Bungie aims to compensate players impacted by the recent PlayStation Network outage. This weekend, all Destiny 2 players can partake in a bonus weekend, with Contest Mode for the Sundered Doctrine dungeon being temporarily reactivated. Players who take up this challenge will have the chance to earn new exotic gear.
Despite the positive reception of the opening weeks of Episode Heresy, the experience has not been entirely seamless. Some players, particularly those trying to catch up or enjoy older content, have encountered problems. There have been reports of legacy activities being disrupted, with Bungie’s communications highlighting these as “known issues, ”affecting several activities including Kell’s Fall and Onslaught: Salvation.
Xur’s Location
Xur has established a permanent presence in the Bazaar section of The Tower, eliminating the need for players to search for him during each weekend.

The Bazaar is conveniently positioned between two fast travel points, allowing players to choose either one. Navigate towards the back wall, where Ikora and Hawthorne are located, and look for the Ramen Shop. Xur can be found in the alley to the right of the shop.
Class Armor and Exotic Cipher Insights
Xur’s offerings each week include standard quests, exotics, and legendary gear. These quests not only enable players to purchase a secondary fated engram but are also crucial for obtaining legacy exotic items from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn new ciphers by completing strikes or securing victories in crucible or gambit matches—coordinating with clan members or tackling more difficult tasks yields additional rewards.
Featured Exotic Armor

Karnstein Armlets – Warlock Gauntlets
Exotic Perk:
-
Melee and finisher kills instantly provide a cure and temporary restoration.

Stat Values (Total: 66):
- Mobility +15
- Resilience +16
- Recovery +3
- Discipline +10
- Intellect +6
- Strength +16

Young Ahamkara’s Spine – Hunter Gauntlets
Exotic Perk:
-
Enhances the duration and blast radius of the Tripmine Grenade. Grants grenade energy through ability damage.
This week’s lowest-rated exotic is for Hunters, as its utility is limited specifically to those using tripmine grenades, making it a tough recommendation.

- Mobility +10
- Resilience +21
- Recovery +3
- Discipline +14
- Intellect +7
- Strength +7

Armamentarium – Titan Chest Armor

- Mobility +7
- Resilience +9
- Recovery +19
- Discipline +14
- Intellect +2
- Strength +14

Exotic Weapons from Xur
This year’s revamp allows Xur to present multiple exotic weapons during a single visit. Check out his current offerings:

Hawkmoon – Hand Cannon
-
Final blows and precision hits grant Paracausal Charge stacks; the last round in the magazine deals bonus damage based on total stacks. Stowing Hawkmoon while on the final round cancels this bonus.
- Eye of the Storm

Sweet Business – Auto Rifle
-
Features a larger magazine, with enhanced accuracy for hip firing. Picking up Special or Heavy ammo reloads the weapon automatically.
-
Sustained fire increases range and firing rate.

Skyburner’s Oath – Scout Rifle
-
Fires explosive rounds. Aimed shots travel fast and straight; hip fire creates a larger explosion and applies Scorch.
-
Full Auto, deals increased damage to Cabal, and penetrates Phalanx shields.

The Queenbreaker – Linear Fusion Rifle
-
Hold reload to switch between scopes and modify firing behaviors.
-
Enhances accuracy and stability for hip fire precision hits.
