It’s important to note that this merger is seen as a positive step for both The Molasses Flood team and CD Projekt RED. The integration is expected to eliminate previous organizational barriers, fostering greater collaboration within the wider CD Projekt family. Isla conveyed optimism about Project Sirius, stating, “It’s going to be an amazing game, one for the books.”He worked as the Design Director on the project for three years and is eager for the world to discover what the teams have been crafting.

In a bittersweet twist, Isla announced that he would not continue with The Molasses Flood in its new structure. His final day at the studio coincided with the last day of TMF’s legal existence, making the transition a poignant moment in his career.

Details surrounding Project Sirius remain limited, though past job postings hinted that the game might feature stylized graphics, action-oriented combat, player-vs-environment (PvE) content, and cooperative gameplay.
