In the world of Demon Slayer, the undisputed champion isn’t Tanjiro or any contemporary Hashira, but rather Yoriichi Tsugikuni, a warrior born 500 years prior. Yoriichi is credited with developing the foundational Breathing Styles and has refined them to an extraordinary extent, unmatched by any other Slayer.

Primarily, Yoriichi utilized the Sun Breathing Style, the origin of all other Breathing Styles within the series. His proficiency extends to nearly all advanced techniques and boosts available to Demon Slayers.

Yoriichi was born with the Demon Slayer Mark, which enhances physical abilities. Uniquely, he did not undergo rigorous training to acquire this advantage, unlike other Slayers.
His access to the Transparent World (or See-Through World) provides Yoriichi with heightened perception. This capacity enables him to scrutinize the inner workings of a demon’s body, facilitating strategic combat maneuvers.

However, battles with new and old Upper Rank 4 demons, Hantengu and Nakime, may prove more challenging. While neither demon truly poses a threat to Yoriichi, their Blood Demon Arts could extend the encounters. For instance, Yoriichi would swiftly dispatch Hantengu, but the ensuing clones would make the fight extensive. Eventually, utilizing the Transparent World, he would recognize Hantengu’s primary body and secure victory.

As for Nakime, her fate hinges on the battle’s initial conditions. If she maintains distance, she may utilize her Blood Demon Art to evade Yoriichi’s assault. However, his mastery of the Transparent World would likely allow him to keep track of her movements and execute a decisive strike long before she could tire him out. If Yoriichi can handle her with the assistance of two Hashira and Yushiro, he shouldn’t face significant difficulty.

However, if they were to unite against Yoriichi, their optimal strategy would likely involve attempting to exhaust him.

Some Upper Ranks, like Gyutaro and Gyokko, possess abilities that allow them to evade certain defeat, while Nakime’s manipulation of the battlefield could prove advantageous. However, even if they attempted to outlast Yoriichi, his speed remains a significant asset. By unleashing his full potential using the Transparent World, Bright Red Nichirin Sword, and Selfless State, Yoriichi could quickly identify and neutralize the most formidable threats among them.

Muzan’s inability to mount an effective defense against Yoriichi, who effortlessly destroyed multiple hearts and brains, suggests that Yoriichi could similarly dispatch the Upper Ranks with remarkable speed. Thus, it is plausible that Yoriichi Tsugikuni would dominate in such a scenario.
