Dell has unveiled a new, premium line of laptops, emphasizing high-performance computing with the introduction of the latest Arrow Lake-H processors and GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs. This new series promises to elevate the user experience for both casual and professional tasks.

The flagship models, now rebranded as the Dell 14 Premium and Dell 16 Premium, feature some significant upgrades. These laptops not only bring a fresh aesthetic under the “Dell Premium”label but also maintain the legacy of the XPS series known for its quality and design.

In a bid to enhance the visual experience, the Dell 14 Premium boasts a 14.5-inch display while the Dell 16 Premium features a 16.3-inch screen. These new sizes offer a slightly larger screen area compared to their predecessors, enhancing the viewing experience without altering the overall laptop footprint. The incorporation of InfinityEdge technology allows for an immersive visual experience, maximizing screen-to-body ratio.

The Dell 14 Premium offers versatile configurations, starting with the Core Ultra 7 255H processor, capable of handling demanding applications seamlessly. Users can choose between integrated Intel Arc graphics and a dedicated GeForce RTX 4050 GPU. Memory configurations range from 16 GB/512 GB to 32 GB/1 TB, with all various setups offering the same core specifications. The laptop also features a 2K resolution IPS display, reaching brightness levels of up to 500 nits and supporting refresh rates up to 120Hz.

Weighing in at a mere 1.63-1.72 kg, the Dell 14 Premium is designed to be remarkably portable, featuring a robust 69.5 Whr battery that can yield up to 20 hours of usage on a single charge. The Dell 16 Premium, crafted for enthusiasts, can deliver an impressive 27 hours of battery life and comes equipped with the GeForce RTX 5060 alongside either the Core Ultra 7 255H or the Core Ultra 9 285H. Additional graphics options—including Intel Arc iGPU and GeForce RTX 5050 and 5070—are slated for future releases.

Pricing for the Dell 14 Premium begins at $1, 649 for the version featuring the Intel Arc iGPU, 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512 GB SSD. A mid-range model with an RTX 4050, 32 GB RAM, and a 1 TB SSD is priced at $2, 249, while the high-end configuration with a 3.2K OLED display retails for $2, 449. The Dell 16 Premium, featuring the Core Ultra 7 255H, GeForce RTX 5060, and a 16.3-inch non-touch 2K display, starts at $2, 699. In contrast, the more advanced configuration with the Core Ultra 9 285H and 16.3-inch Touch 4K OLED screen is available for $3, 049. Future models, including those with the latest Intel Arc graphics, are expected to have a lower price point, whereas the configurations with the GeForce RTX 5070 could range between $2, 700 and $3, 000, which will not affect the display specifications.
