One such intriguing challenge is the “Battle of Speed,” where players face off against Beerus!

In this battle, you will take on the role of Vegeta, whose goal is straightforward: He is eager to gain an edge over Kakarot, so he challenges Beerus for training.

At the beginning of the match, ensure you have enough space to charge up your Ki gauge and activate Sparking Mode. Once charged, launch an assault on Beerus to keep him from unleashing his deadly Instakill attack. When you enter Sparking Mode, execute the Final Flash. If you don’t succeed with this attack, restart the match.

Listen for your character’s warning: “Oh no… They’re getting bored!” This signals that Beerus is preparing to use his lethal Instakill move. To secure victory, aim to strip away two of Beerus’ health bars every minute. Keep in mind that he will use his Instakill ability every 30 seconds; counter this by attacking him with Ki blasts while in Sparking Mode.

Repeat this strategy consistently. If Sparking Mode is not available, the Final Flash Attack should serve as your fallback. To finish the battle swiftly, relentlessly bombard Beerus with Ki Blasts and Sparking mode attacks before unleashing Vegeta’s Final Flash to clinch the win.

If Beerus activates his Sparking Mode, switch to combo attacks. Advanced players can use the Galick Gun to counter him, but this requires precise timing, which can be challenging for newcomers. Successfully countering his attack initiates a beam struggle where you must follow the on-screen prompts to redirect the combined energy toward Beerus for the finishing blow.

Upon conquering this fight, you’ll receive 30,000 Zeni and the God of Destruction Training Battle Ability Item. This item enhances your maximum health when selected before future battles.

Additionally, defeating Beerus unlocks the God vs. God bonus battle, followed by Zamasu’s Greatest Mistake quest. To unlock Bardock in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero without spending Zeni, you must complete Zamasu’s Greatest Mistake.
