Graphics and Display Features

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will come equipped with an array of advanced PC upscaling and frame generation technologies, including NVIDIA DLSS 4, AMD FSR 4, and Intel XeSS 2. However, it remains unclear whether the implementation of NVIDIA DLSS 4 includes options for Multi Frame Generation or the latest DLSS 4.5 second-generation Transformer model available through the NVIDIA app.

While the game will not feature ray tracing capabilities, it will support Ultrawide displays. All cutscenes will be adapted for a 21:9 aspect ratio, with gameplay also accommodating an even wider 32:9 aspect ratio. Players utilizing standard 16:9 displays can still adjust their settings to enable these wider views, enhancing their experience without the need for specialized monitors. Furthermore, PS5 players can expect the same 21:9 ultrawide feature through an update coinciding with the PC launch.

Exclusive Rewards and Launch Information

Players eagerly awaiting the game will also be pleased to learn about exclusive content. The previously announced Porter Suit: Link and Patch: Link will be available to all PS5 Porters following a timely update during the PC version’s release. Additionally, gamers on the PC platform can earn these items as a bonus by linking their PlayStation account.

The release date for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set for March 19 on PC, available through both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
