Deadpool and Wolverine Mock Justin Baldoni, Says Lawyer from ‘It Ends With Us’

Legal Turmoil Surrounds Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively Over Mockery Allegations

In a dramatic turn of events, Justin Baldoni’s attorney has made claims that a particular character from the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film was deliberately crafted to ridicule him. This revelation comes amid ongoing legal disputes involving Baldoni and Blake Lively, the lead actors in the film It Ends With Us. Lively initiated a lawsuit in late December, alleging sexual harassment and hinting at a coordinated effort to tarnish her public image. Concurrently, Baldoni and his legal representatives are pressing charges against The New York Times for defamation.

Details of the Allegations

During an appearance on Megyn Kelly’s show, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freeman, elaborated on this claim, citing rumors about a character named Nicepool, purportedly introduced to ridicule Baldoni. Such allegations were highlighted in a report by Comic Book Movie. Freeman pointed out specific references, singling out the character’s “hair bun”and a “comment about the pregnancy” as clear nods to Baldoni.

What I make of that is that if your wife is sexually harassed, you don’t make fun of Justin Baldoni. You don’t make fun of the situation. You take it very seriously, you file HR complaints, you raise the issue and you follow a legal process. What you don’t do is mock the person and turn it into a joke, but again, if somebody is seriously sexually harassed, you don’t make fun of it. It’s a serious issue.

What’s Next?

The legal saga is still unfolding, and more updates are expected as the involved parties navigate through these serious accusations. As these developments progress, industry watchers are keenly tracking the implications for all parties involved.
