  • Urns will now disclose your location 20 seconds after being picked up.
  • The Urn sprint bonus has been adjusted from +3/5 for the winning and losing teams to +2/6.
  • The first flex slot is now unlocked after 3 Guardians are eliminated, a change from the previous requirement of 4.
  • The base kill bounty has been decreased from 225 to 150, though it will still scale to 1400 over time.
  • The respawn time after 20 minutes has been reduced from 45 seconds to 40 seconds.
  • The spawn time for T3 Golden Statues has shifted from 25 minutes to 30 minutes.
  • The range for attacking lane Guardians has been increased from 19 meters to 20 meters.
  • The T3 upgrade for Seven’s Lightning Ball has been reduced in radius from +2 meters to +1 meter.
  • For Shiv, the Rage decay rate has increased from 0.25 to 0.3.

The adjustments highlighted in these notes reflect the developers’ intent to enhance the overall gaming experience by addressing various balance mechanics.

In response to player feedback regarding overly lengthy respawn times that could shift the momentum of matches, the developers have opted to make some experimental changes. The respawn time after the 20-minute mark has been adjusted to 40 seconds from the previous 45 seconds.

Additonally, alterations have been made to how players engage with Urns. Now, when an Urn is picked up, it does not reveal a player’s position right away; instead, this occurs 20 seconds post pickup.

Moreover, adjustments have been implemented to minimize the power of Seven’s kit. The Deadlock Patch Notes show that the capabilities of his Lightning Ball have been dialed back, with the Tier 3 upgrade now providing only a +1 meter range compared to the previous +2 meters.

Shiv has also seen updates in the latest patch. His rage-related statistics have been refined, with the Rage decay rate increasing from 0.25 to 0.3 and the Rage buffer duration being decreased from 12 seconds to 10 seconds.
