The Chloranthy Ring is a coveted item in Dark Souls 3, prized for its remarkable ability to enhance stamina regeneration. Players can acquire it early in the game, specifically within the Undead Settlement. However, its location inside a less-traveled tower may lead to it being overlooked by many adventurers.
If you’re building a character that can greatly benefit from increased stamina, equipping the Chloranthy Ring is a top-tier option. Depending on your current game progression, you can commence your quest from either the Dilapidated Bridge bonfire or the Road of Sacrifices bonfire, though starting at the latter will save you considerable effort.
Retrieving the Chloranthy Ring from the Dilapidated Bridge Bonfire
Begin your journey at the Dilapidated Bridge bonfire, moving directly through the graveyard filled with giant arrows. Enter the nearby shack, navigate around the stairs, and follow the cliff edge to reach a new structure.
The left side of this structure leads to the boss room of the Curse-Rotted Greatwood, while a door on the right can be opened to create a shortcut. Utilize this door to continue your journey.
Proceed along the path until you encounter a cobblestone bridge on your left. Cross the bridge and maintain your course until you locate a towering structure. Access the tower by opening its large doors and taking the corresponding elevator inside.
This elevator connects both the underground and upper sections of the tower. To access the upper level, you must activate the elevator before disembarking, which will lower a secondary platform that offers access to the upper tier.
During the ride, consider jumping off midway to land on a wooden platform ahead, leading to an isolated area of the Undead Settlement. Here you can encounter the NPC Siegward of Catarina, along with a demon that you will battle alongside him.
Once the demon has been defeated, enter the only accessible building and navigate inside. Climb upwards to find two Evangelists guarding an opening leading to the rooftops. Use this opening to explore ledges and rooftops towards the tower.
Make calculated drops from the ledges until you reach the upper level of the tower. Upon entry, be prepared to carefully descend to the main floor by sprinting and jumping onto a narrow support structure, and then dropping down.
Missing the jump is not fatal, as long as your health is full.
The Chloranthy Ring awaits behind a few destructible crates. You can either break them down or roll through to uncover the ring. While you are here, also grab Mirrah’s armor set, conveniently located opposite to the ring.
For those interested in a more powerful alternative, the Chloranthy Ring +3 can be acquired in the Ringed City DLC, providing even greater enhancements to stamina regeneration.
Retrieving the Chloranthy Ring from the Road of Sacrifices Bonfire
Opting to start at the Road of Sacrifices bonfire streamlines your path to the tower where the Chloranthy Ring is located. From the bonfire, turn around and locate the elevator tower, taking it to reach the hidden area of the Undead Settlement where you previously encountered the demon.
Proceed through the ruins and navigate to the adjacent tower containing the ring, following the instructions outlined above.
