Dancing with the Stars season 33 made a thrilling return on Tuesday, October 22, introducing episode 6, dedicated to the much-anticipated Disney Night.

This special episode featured extraordinary routines performed to classic Disney tracks, as the remaining couples put forth their best efforts to evade elimination. Unfortunately for Phaedra Parks and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy, they were eliminated after finding themselves in the bottom three alongside Stephen Nedoroscik & Rylee Arnold and Jenn Bryant & Sasha Farber.

Every couple hit the dance floor with gusto, featuring remarkable interpretations such as Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong’s Paso Doble to “We Own the Night”from Zombies 2, as well as Danny Amendola and Witney Carson’s swinging Jazz performance to “Bye Bye Bye”from Deadpool & Wolverine.

Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy’s Routine on Dancing with the Stars

Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy showcased a Jazz routine set to the tune of “Cruella De Vil”from 101 Dalmatians. Val, donned in a Dalmatian costume, added a whimsical flair to their act, but Phaedra faced difficulties with timing and committed several errors throughout the performance. Her reliance on Val for cues took away from the overall presentation.

Derek Hough praised the creative concept, likening it to a Broadway performance, although he noted that certain partner sections suffered from a lack of smooth transitions.

Bruno Tonioli observed that Phaedra excelled during the slower parts but concurred with Derek regarding the partner dance issues. Carrie Ann Inaba commended Val’s choreography but stressed the necessity for Phaedra to enhance the exaggeration of her movements for greater impact.

The pair concluded the night with a score of 24/30 from the judges, which ultimately placed them in the bottom three and led to their exit from the competition.

Jenn Bryant & Sasha Farber performed a Rumba to “Kiss the Girl”from The Little Mermaid. Although they were praised for their confidence, the duo faced criticism for their lack of Latin flair, also achieving a score of 24/30.

Joey Fatone & Jenna Johnson energized the ballroom with their Samba to “Trashin’ the Camp”from Tarzan, receiving accolades from the judges and a score of 25/30.

Chandler Kinney & Brandon Armstrong captivated everyone with their Paso Doble to “We Own the Night”from Zombies 2, earning significant praise and a score of 27/30.
