Kicking off the evening, Danny Amendola and his partner Witney Carson performed a Paso Doble to Bon Jovi’s Livin’ on a Prayer. Bruno commended Danny’s commitment but noted that his performance could benefit from more finesse.
Next up was Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater, who danced to Twisted Sister’s I Wanna Rock in a lively Cha Cha style. Reginald’s recent knee replacements posed challenges in his movement, which the judges acknowledged, yet they praised his strong support from the audience throughout the performance.
Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong followed with an energetic Jive to another Twisted Sister hit, We’re Not Gonna Take It. While the judges applauded their overall effort, they pointed out a few areas where the execution could be sharper. Brooks Nader then took the stage, delivering a solid Cha Cha to Poison’s Nothing But a Good Time.
Olympic athlete Stephen Nedoroscik showcased his growth alongside Rylee Arnold, applying last episode’s critiques to their routine set to Whitesnake’s Here I Go Again. Dwight Howard also impressed the judges with his Paso Doble performance of Aerosmith’s Walk This Way, earning commendations for his notable improvement.
Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart danced to Warrant’s Cherry Pie, receiving praise for their storytelling but noting timing issues. Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten followed with a Jive to Quiet Riot’s Cum on Feel the Noize; although she faced criticism for missing steps, the encouragement to return next week was evident.
Performing next, Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber brought a Paso Doble to The Final Countdown by Europe, being praised for their posture, though they needed to amp up the intensity. The night wrapped up with Phaedra executing Bon Jovi’s You Give Love a Bad Name and Joey Graziadei closing the evening with his energetic rendition of Scorpion’s Rock You Like a Hurricane.
