On October 7, 2024, Dame Dash made an appearance on the American Nu Network, discussing the ongoing legal troubles surrounding Diddy. During the interview, Dash was asked whether he suspected Jay-Z’s involvement in the Diddy controversy. Dash responded:
“Considering how often he’s captured in photos and present in various situations, one can’t help but question his involvement. Personally, my perspective is unique as I’ve known him for about 20 years, and I also know Puff.”
Dash expressed his astonishment at the shocking allegations leveled against Diddy, which included reports of Diddy orchestrating the notorious Freak-Off parties. He also reacted to the allegations that drinks were allegedly spiked with horse tranquilizers, stating:
“If he’s secretly involved in gay encounters, I had no idea. It’s evident if he was engaging with men who woke up feeling violated, he was imposing an unwanted reality on them.”
He emphasized the difficulty of trusting someone who resorts to drugging drinks. Dame recalled an instance where he introduced Jay-Z to Ciroc, the vodka brand owned by Diddy, saying Jay-Z ended up quite inebriated:
“There was a time when my daughter was 16, and she wanted to attend a show that Jay was performing. I couldn’t deny her that experience, so I requested to accompany her, and they were incredibly accommodating.”
Upon attending the show, Dash tried D’Usse Cognac, a brand owned by Jay-Z, and noted that he ended up intoxicated, recalling:
“My daughter and I joked about it recently, wondering why I got so drunk. As it happened, I ended up wrestling with Kevin Hart.”
Dame Dash Voices Concerns Over Jay-Z’s Possible Connection to Diddy’s Parties
In the midst of the buzz surrounding Dash’s appearance on American Nu Network, he recalled another interview from two weeks prior, where he commented on Jay-Z’s silence regarding Diddy’s arrest. He articulated that it would be inappropriate to connect Jay-Z to this situation, given his relationship with Dash’s son, Boogie. Dame further added:
“I really don’t want to hear about Jay attending any Freak-Off parties. That’s just absurd. With all the rumors swirling, I find it strange that no one is addressing it.”
Despite his shock at the allegations against Diddy, Dash made it clear that he harbors no grudges against the artist, noting that it was distressing to witness the unfolding events involving him.
Additionally, Dash mentioned how it pains him to see anyone in distress, asserting that he never revels in another’s suffering. He added:
“The accusations being made… they’re horrific. It’s difficult for me to even entertain the idea that any of it could hold truth. I sincerely hope they’re false, and I dread the thought of seeing him incarcerated next year.”
Diddy was taken into custody on September 16, 2024, facing serious charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. His bail requests have been denied twice, with a court hearing scheduled for Wednesday, October 9.
