Cyberpunk 2077’s Latest Update: Patch 2.21 Launches with Exciting Features
CD Projekt RED continues to enhance the Cyberpunk 2077 experience with the recent release of Patch 2.21. This comprehensive update introduces an array of bug fixes across all platforms and brings a significant advancement for PC gamers equipped with Nvidia’s latest graphics cards.
DLSS 4 Support Now Available
One of the standout features of this patch is the official support for DLSS 4, Nvidia’s cutting-edge upscaling and frame generation technology. This enhancement was unveiled alongside the new RTX 50 series graphics cards, which will hit the market later this month. DLSS 4 employs a new technique known as Multi Frame Generation, designed to deliver a superior gaming experience.
Nvidia has clarified that, rather than relying on “brute-force rendering,”this new functionality can produce up to three frames based on the data obtained from a single standard frame. However, it’s important to note that this feature is exclusively available for users of RTX 50 series graphics cards.
Improvements to Ray Reconstruction Models
In addition, players can now select between the CNN model or the newly introduced Transformer model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLAA across all GeForce RTX graphics cards. CD Projekt RED mentions that the Transformer model enhances stability, lighting, and detail during dynamic motion, further enriching the gaming experience.
Comprehensive Bug Fixes and Enhancements
Beyond performance upgrades, this patch addresses numerous bugs related to various features introduced in previous updates, such as Photo Mode, Vehicle Color Customization, and Character Creation. Players can expect a smoother and more reliable gameplay experience as these fixes roll out.
