Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.2 Introduces New Customization Options and Enhanced Photo Mode Features

CD Projekt RED has certainly not concluded its journey with Cyberpunk 2077. The studio has unveiled an impressive new update, version 2.2, which places a significant emphasis on enhancing customization. Players can now immerse themselves in a newly expanded character creation experience featuring over a hundred fresh options for the game’s protagonist, V.

10 cheek makeup types
16 eye makeup selections
4 face scars
5 eyebrow shapes
4 facial tattoos

8 cosmetic face cyberware options

Enhanced Character Creator Features

Additionally, the Character Creator now includes a dynamic Plain-to-Punk slider, expanding the range of personalization. To showcase these customizations with friends, players can take advantage of the revamped Photo Mode, which introduces several new and improved features:

Drone Camera now operates as a free camera rather than being restricted to an orbital view centered on V, with an increased range.
Full Collision toggle (ON/OFF) allows the camera to respect in-game object encounters.
Lock Camera mechanism (ON/OFF) prevents accidental adjustments that could disrupt a shot.
Precise Camera toggle (ON/OFF) offers smoother aiming with reduced speed.
Aspect Ratio options are now available for PC users (please note that custom-resolution screenshots are unavailable on consoles, which retain the standard 16:9 format).
Characters tab allows players to spawn up to 3 NPCs from a selection of over 20, including options to modify their expressions, poses, and placements.
Lighting tab enables users to spawn and manipulate light sources.
Resolution of the Depth of Field ghosting issue has been implemented.
An Effect Intensity slider has been introduced for further photographic control.

Automotive Enhancements

The update also revitalizes car customization with the introduction of CrystalCoat technology, enabling players to change their vehicle’s paint on-the-fly. This feature is particularly advantageous for evading law enforcement by reducing visibility to the NCPD.
