NVIDIA’s board partners are set to unveil their customized designs for the GeForce RTX 5050 series, featuring both standard and overclocked (OC) models that promise enhanced performance with elevated frequencies compared to the reference version.
Custom GeForce RTX 5050 Designs Unveiled
The highly anticipated official launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5050 is expected tomorrow. Initially planned for a mid-July rollout, reports suggest that NVIDIA has expedited the launch schedule to meet eager demand. While several board partners have displayed early models of the RTX 5050, it appears that nearly all manufacturers are poised for a coordinated release.
Prominent companies like ASUS, GIGABYTE, MSI, and ZOTAC have all prepared an assortment of custom RTX 5050 graphics cards, ready to cater to gamers and professionals alike.

ASUS is introducing three configurations of the RTX 5050:
- Prime GeForce RTX 5050: Boosts up to 2602 MHz
- Prime GeForce RTX 5050 OC: Boosts up to 2707 MHz
- Dual GeForce RTX 5050: Boosts up to 2602 MHz
The Prime series features an advanced triple fan cooling system, while the Dual model opts for dual fans. Notably, the Prime RTX 5050 OC achieves a significant enhancement with an overclock exceeding 125 MHz.

Meanwhile, GIGABYTE presents three variants as well:
- GeForce RTX 5050 GAMING OC: Boosts up to 2632 MHz
- GeForce RTX 5050 WINDFORCE OC: Boosts up to 2587 MHz
- GeForce RTX 5050 OC Low Profile: Boosts up to 2587 MHz
GIGABYTE has opted for conservative overclocking, maintaining a boost frequency around 2.6 GHz for its OC editions. Expect these models to be more affordable than their ASUS counterparts, with the WindForce OC edition being the top performer in GIGABYTE’s lineup, featuring a triple fan setup.

MSI is launching a broader array, with six different RTX 5050 models:
- GeForce RTX 5050 Shadow 2X: Boosts up to 2587 MHz
- GeForce RTX 5050 Shadow 2X OC: Boosts up to 2617 MHz
- GeForce RTX 5050 Gaming: Boosts up to 2587 MHz
- GeForce RTX 5050 Gaming OC: Boosts up to 2647 MHz
- GeForce RTX 5050 Ventus 2X: Boosts up to 2587 MHz
- GeForce RTX 5050 Ventus 2X OC: Boosts up to 2617 MHz
Finally, ZOTAC offers four distinct versions of the RTX 5050, which include both dual fan and single fan options:

- Gaming GeForce RTX 5050 SOLO: Boosts up to 2572 MHz
- Gaming GeForce RTX 5050 Twin Edge: Boosts up to 2572 MHz
- Gaming GeForce RTX 5050 Twin Edge OC: Boosts up to 2602 MHz
- Gaming GeForce RTX 5050 Twin Edge OC White: Boosts up to 2602 MHz
The ZOTAC models tend to feature lower clock speeds for their OC versions and also include the compact SOLO design, which is ideal for smaller systems with its single fan setup. All of these cards will be priced starting around $249, potentially reaching up to $299. The official launch is anticipated for July 1st, but widespread availability may take some additional time.
