The Armory
- The Armory is now accessible in the store (https://store.steampowered.com/sale/armory)
- Includes 3 new weapon collections, 2 charm collections, 2 sticker collections, the Gallery Case, and the Heat Treated Desert Eagle
- Purchasing and activating an Armory Pass enables players to start accumulating Armory Credits
- Players can make progress toward credits by earning XP with an active Armory Pass
- Credits can be redeemed for exclusive items within the Armory
Charms
- Introducing Charms: versatile items that can be attached to your favorite weapons, currently available solely within the Armory
- Drag and drop Charms to accurately position them on your weapon of choice. Only one charm can be attached per weapon at a time.
- Detach Charms from weapons using a Charm Detachment, which returns the Charm to your inventory for reuse.
- Redeeming a Charm from the Armory provides three free Charm Detachments. Additional Detachments can be purchased.
Inventory and Item Changes in CS2 Patch Notes
- All items obtained through the in-game store (including the Armory), Trade Offers, and Steam Community Market now have a 7-day restriction on re-trading and re-listing.
- Stickers, patches, and charms available on the Steam Community Market, in the Armory, or through friends’ Steam Inventory can now be previewed on your inventory items.
- The option to remove weapon cases from your inventory has been eliminated.
- A sticker scrape level selector has been introduced when applying new stickers to weapons.
- Precision sticker wear level options added for scraping existing stickers. Applied stickers can only increase their scrape level.
- Improvements allow for immediate removal of existing stickers from inventory weapons in addition to scraping.
- A nametag module preview is now available when applying nametags on items.
- Fixed several issues where applying nametags or stickers would inadvertently unequip the weapon from your loadout.
- Customizing a currently equipped base weapon will now automatically equip the newly customized version.
Animation Changes in CS2 Patch Notes
- Character posing has been improved on steep slopes.
- Feet pinning logic has been altered for all scenarios to reduce exaggerated leaning issues (often referred to as the MJ lean).
- Pin/unpin IK logic remains unaffected by poor server ping times.
- Feet IK repositions to the idle pose if pinned feet differ significantly from the authorized pose.
- Run, walk, and crouch animations have been re-authored to correct scissor leg posing during movement.
- Ladder animations have been modified so that character heads align more accurately with the player camera, including proper crouch displays on ladders.
- Removed animation popping when crouching or uncrouching mid-jump and reduced leaning in jumping animations.
- Corrected character pose popping that occurred when falling from ledges.
- Fixed multiple incidents of character pose popping during traversal with slow-moving weapons.
Gameplay Changes in CS2 Patch Notes
- Flashbangs and HE grenades will no longer detonate prematurely after exceeding their ‘stuck bounce’ limit.

- A Display selection dropdown has been added for non-windowed Fullscreen mode in the Video settings.
