Options for Marvel Rivals Custom Games

Once you’ve established your custom game, you will encounter a range of options to tailor your gaming experience to your liking.

Here’s a brief overview of your customization capabilities:

  • Add AI bots to fill your lobby.
  • Modify map and game mode settings.
  • Secure the room with a password.
  • Randomly swap players or entire teams once the lobby is full.

To add bots, simply click the Add Bots button and choose from various difficulty levels: easy, normal, or hard.

The room settings feature allows you to manage who can join through the Join Access menu, which also applies to spectating permissions. Additionally, during competitive play, you can establish ban/pick rules to elevate the stakes of your matches.

In the bottom right corner, you’ll see your selected game mode and map. Clicking the map icon opens the settings menu, enabling you to choose which maps to include, whether it’s one specific map, a few, or all of them available.

Your gameplay preferences can also be adjusted between options such as Quick Match, Competitive play, and Arcade mode, which operates effectively as Team Deathmatch. For competitive settings, ban/pick rules can enhance gameplay intensity.

For those wishing to create a private room, navigate to the room settings, check the Lock Room box, and set a password. Only players who enter the password you provide can access your room.
