For those who haven’t visited the EA forums, a number of users have reported experiencing crashes with Arc A-series GPUs. Players have stated that the game consistently crashes during match loading phases. Several reports on Reddit echo these sentiments, with Redditor u/Ok_Tomato_O suggesting a temporary workaround for the issue.

A temporary fix is to play the game in full screen or windowed mode.

According to user testing, Battlefield 6 crashes predominantly when running in “Borderless Mode”—the default setting for the game. Switching to either Full Screen or Windowed mode appears to mitigate the crashes entirely. Many players have reported that this solution is effective, and until Intel releases a definitive driver update, Arc A-series GPU owners are encouraged to follow these adjustments.

Intel’s commitment to resolving this issue gives hope for a long-term fix. Currently, users of the Arc B-Series GPUs do not seem to encounter similar problems.

Update: Intel has announced the release of a new driver aimed at addressing the crashing issue in Battlefield 6 for Arc A-series GPUs.
