CPU-Z’s latest iteration, version 2.16, enhances its support capabilities for the newest AMD and NVIDIA processors and graphics cards. This hardware monitoring tool remains a trusted resource for users seeking accurate information on cutting-edge components.

New Features in CPU-Z v2.16: Enhanced GPU and CPU Support

The recent launch of CPU-Z v2.16 marks a significant update, integrating a variety of AMD and NVIDIA products into its already extensive database. This version specifically adds recognition for several next-generation GPUs from both manufacturers, enhancing the tool’s utility for gamers and tech enthusiasts alike.

Among the notable additions for GPUs is the Radeon RX 9060 XT, based on the NAVI 44 architecture, which debuted last month. This graphics card is part of AMD’s RDNA 4 family, available in both 8 GB and 16 GB configurations. Additionally, the newly launched Ryzen 8000HX series, also known as the Dragon Range, has gained compatibility as these Zen 4-based processors cater to high-performance mobile applications.

Moreover, new inclusions extend to AMD’s Krackan Point chips, specifically the Ryzen AI 7 350 and Ryzen AI 5 340, which bring Zen 5 technology to the budget mobile segment, featuring 8 and 6 cores, respectively. Interestingly, CPUs from Chinese manufacturer Zhaoxin, namely the KaiXian KX-U6780A and KX-U6580, are now recognized within this update as well.
