Previously, Team Group was the first to make headlines with its T-Force Z54E, boasting 14, 900 MB/s in read speeds but capping sequential write speeds at 14, 000 MB/s. The Corsair MP700 PRO XT surpasses these metrics, setting a high standard for storage performance in consumer devices. It is not only incredibly fast but also designed for energy efficiency, powered by the advanced Phison E28 controller.

One of the standout features of this SSD is its compatibility with Microsoft DirectStorage, which enables direct communication between the SSD and GPU. This significantly enhances gaming performance, offering quicker load times for games and applications. Additionally, with the Corsair SSD Toolbox, users can easily manage their SSDs through various functionalities such as cloning, firmware updates, and secure data wipes.

The second product, the Corsair MP700 MICRO SSD, harnesses the benefits of the PCIe 5.0 interface while being designed in a compact M.2 2242 form factor. This makes it a perfect fit for space-constrained devices like laptops and portable gaming consoles. With impressive specifications of 10, 000 MB/s read speeds and 8, 000 MB/s write speeds, it promises to enhance the performance of operating systems, software, and games alike. It is available in capacities of up to 4 TB, utilizing high-density 3D TLC NAND technology, with a 2 TB variant also offered.

Pricing for the MP700 PRO XT starts at $159 for the 1 TB model, with additional options of 2 TB for $240 and 4 TB for $459. Each purchase includes a 5-year warranty. Both SSD models can now be purchased through Corsair’s network of authorized distributors and retailers, with plans for expanded capacity options for the MP700 PRO XT slated for early 2026.
