Conor McGregor shares two-word reaction to behind-the-scenes clip of Road House’s final fight scene

Conor McGregor, the newest sensation in Hollywood, is content with further developing his personal brand.

Following the debut of ‘Road House’ on Amazon Prime Video, the platform shared exclusive behind-the-scenes footage showcasing the intense fight scenes between McGregor and lead actor Jake Gyllenhaal. In response, McGregor expressed his approval of the footage, referencing his Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey brand.

Conor McGregor posted on Twitter:

“Proper graft!”

The video displayed McGregor’s contribution to the movie beyond his performance as the antagonist ‘Knox,’ as the ex-UFC titleholder was captured directing fight sequences that would be featured in the film’s ending.

The fight scene at the Road House, as depicted in the titular movie, almost resulted in ‘Knox’ losing his life. However, in a mid-credits closing scene, McGregor’s character is seen escaping from the hospital, indicating that he managed to survive the ordeal.

McGregor made his entrance into the entertainment industry through his first acting role in ‘Road House’ and is said to have earned the highest salary ever for a newcomer, surpassing even WWE legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

Conor McGregor’s Highly Anticipated UFC Comeback: What Fans Can Expect

Despite not having a fight booked since his leg injury in 2021, Conor McGregor remains determined to return to the octagon. While rumors have circulated about a potential matchup against Michael Chandler, the UFC has yet to confirm any official plans since McGregor’s video announcement on New Year’s Eve 2023.

Despite McGregor’s desire to return to the UFC, CEO Dana White has explained that the filming of ‘Road House’ and his continuous media responsibilities have caused a delay in his comeback.

Despite their connection as coaches on season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter in 2023, McGregor and Chandler have faced numerous challenges that have hindered McGregor’s ability to compete in the UFC. These obstacles include a strained relationship with USADA and the recent release of ‘Road House.’
