The forthcoming lineup features several models, including the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the innovative Pixel 10 Pro Fold. As speculation has brewed over the past few months regarding their features and specifications, it appears that Google is opting for standard enhancements rather than a significant upgrade.
Here’s a compilation of the most notable rumors surrounding the Pixel 10 series.
A Familiar Aesthetic
In a recent sighting in Vancouver, Canada, tech enthusiasts observed a Pixel 10 model during a commercial shoot. Initial impressions suggest that its design closely resembles that of the Pixel 9 series.
Notable features like the camera bump remain, although modifications may include slightly rounded corners for enhanced ergonomics. Additional leaks confirm that the overall appearance is not drastically different from its predecessor.
Sources indicate the potential color options for the Pixel 10 series as follows:
- Pixel 10: Obsidian, Frost, Lemongrass, Indigo

The Tensor G5 Chip: A Performance Boost
The Pixel 10 lineup is anticipated to feature the powerful Tensor G5 chip, produced using TSMC’s N3E technology. According to benchmark leaks, this next-generation chip promises a remarkable 36% increase in overall performance compared to the G4, with a focus on optimization for AI functionalities on-device.
In terms of memory, the Tensor G5 models may come equipped with 16GB of RAM, along with several storage configurations ranging from 128GB to a staggering 1TB.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold may feature a slight increase in screen dimensions, with the cover display growing from 6.3 inches to 6.4 inches, while the internal screen remains at 8 inches. Additionally, it is rumored that display brightness could hit up to 3, 000 nits.
Furthermore, the Pixel Fold is likely to incorporate a larger battery, boasting a capacity of 5, 015mAh, potentially addressing the battery life concerns voiced by Pixel 9 users.
Enhanced Camera Technology with AI Integration
Leaked reports from Android Authority suggest that the base Pixel 10 will employ a 50MP Samsung GN8 main camera sensor, alongside a 13MP Sony IMX712 ultrawide lens and an 11MP Samsung 3J1 telephoto lens. The front-facing camera will also feature an 11MP Samsung 3J1 sensor.
The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL are rumored to include a similar 50MP main sensor, complemented by three 48MP sensors designed for ultrawide, telephoto, and selfie photography.
For the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, insiders indicate a configuration featuring a 48MP primary camera, a 10.5MP ultrawide lens, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom. There appears to be limited advancement in camera specs from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but the software is expected to be enriched with new AI-driven enhancements.
AI Features Taking Center Stage
With an increasing emphasis on artificial intelligence, it’s clear that the upcoming Pixel 10 series is poised to be the most AI-integrated edition yet. Launching with Android 16 pre-installed, these devices are also expected to include exclusive features such as Pixel Sense, an innovative on-device assistant capable of pulling data across multiple applications.
Pricing Speculations
There are conflicting reports about the pricing of the Pixel 10 series. According to AndroidHeadlines, it’s suggested that only the Pixel 10 Pro XL may see a price increase, while the costs for Fold variants could surprisingly decrease. Meanwhile, leaker Roland Quandt has proposed that the entire Pixel 10 range may face price hikes.
