Comprehensive Guide to the Wuthering Waves Data Overdash Quest

The Data Overdash quest is a recently introduced challenge in the Black Shores region of Wuthering Waves. This quest is relatively quick and straightforward, presenting a small task that must be completed within a specific time limit. After completing the Overdash challenge, players will encounter a Tacet Discord. Successfully finishing the quest rewards you with a total of 80 Astrites, comprised of 40 Astrites from the quest itself and an additional 40 Astrites from a Premium Supply Chest.

Data Overdash Quest Location

The Data Overdash quest can be found in the Tethys’ Deep area of Black Shores. Head to the small island located to the east of the Data Torrent (the boss location known as Fallacy of No Return) to locate the Overdash Researcher NPC on a small dock. Engage with her to begin the Data Overdash quest, which will open a challenge point right next to her.

Complete the Overdash Challenge

Interact with the challenge point to commence the challenge. This segment resembles traditional Overdash challenges but incorporates an additional Portal mechanic. There is no need to collect any items or coins; simply reach the target location within the designated time limit. Be cautious of traps within the area, as they can significantly impede your progress.

Defeat the Silent Discord

Upon successfully completing the Overdash challenge, you’ll enter a chamber adorned with holographic walls where a Lumiscale Construct awaits. Your next task is to defeat this enemy, which is quite manageable, so you should encounter no difficulties in overcoming it.

After defeating the Lumiscale Construct, use the portal to return to the ground near the Overdash Researcher.

Talk to the Researcher

Finally, converse with the Overdash Researcher one last time. This will conclude the Data Overdash quest, rewarding you with:
