Comprehensive Guide to Minecraft Pale Oak Wood: Locations, Blocks, and Uses
Mojang Studios has unveiled exciting details about the upcoming Minecraft update during their Live event. Titled “Bundles of Bravery,” this update introduces some long-requested bundles and brings Hardcore mode to the Bedrock Edition. However, the highlight of the event was the announcement of the intriguing new Pale Garden biome.
The Pale Garden biome is set to introduce a new wood type called Pale Oak wood, which comes with its own unique gameplay mechanics. This article will detail how to find Pale Oak wood and explore its various uses in the game.
Minecraft Introduces New Pale Oak Wood
Minecraft is set to include a new wood type, Pale Oak wood, which players can acquire by breaking down the Pale Oak tree. Mojang is enhancing the complexity of the overworld by adding diverse exploration areas, and this announcement showcases the studio’s commitment to improving gameplay.
Fans have long desired a white wood type, and the introduction of Pale Oak wood delivers just that, featuring a distinct desaturated look that resembles a white hue. This makes it an excellent choice for a variety of building projects.
Finding Pale Oak Wood in Minecraft
Pale Oak wood can be located in the newly introduced Pale Garden biome, which will exist within the Overworld. Identifying this biome should be relatively straightforward; players can look for desaturated blocks and trees, characterized by an almost monochromatic appearance. It’s advisable to explore this biome during the daytime.
At night, the Pale Garden biome turns into a treacherous area where the hostile Creaking mob appears. This foe is quite challenging to defeat, as it doesn’t take damage from regular attacks. Players will need to locate and destroy the Creaking heart within the Pale Garden to eliminate the Creaking.
The Uses of Pale Oak Wood
Pale Oak wood is a fascinating new item. As a type of wood, it can be crafted into planks, fences, doors, stairs, and more. Essentially, anything that can be created with regular oak wood (or any other wood type) can also be made using Pale Oak wood.
However, what sets this wood type apart from others is the addition of the Creaking heart, which can summon the hostile Creaking mob. Players can obtain the Creaking heart using a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch.
When the Creaking heart is positioned between two blocks of Pale Oak wood, it activates the heart, leading to the spawning of the Creaking mob.
