Upon your arrival at the Seaside Resort island in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you might spot a peculiar egg-like creature in various locations. This character is Gudetama, a famously lazy egg who is located throughout the enchanting world of the game.
Players can “find”Gudetama by snapping a selfie beside it using the in-game camera, which is acquired during the ‘Gudetama Snap’ quest. Following this initial quest, players are given the opportunity to embark on another Gudetama-themed quest that unlocks only after capturing photos of six distinct Gudetama locations scattered across the island.
A Complete Guide to the ‘Gudetama Snap’ Quest
To kick off the ‘Gudetama Snap’ quest, players must interact with the peculiar Gudetama sign located to the right of the main plaza. This sign will guide you back to Pochacco, who will inquire about your sightings of “little eggs”around the islands.
Pochacco will then indicate a mustachioed Gudetama positioned on the steps right behind his workout area, near the Plaza Fast Travel point. He will request you to photograph this Gudetama and will present you with his Camera, officially starting the ‘Gudetama Snap’ quest.
Approach the Gudetama, equip your Camera through the quick-select wheel, and tap the Camera icon displayed at the bottom right corner of your screen. After zooming in slightly, capture an image of your character with Gudetama in full view.
Once the photo is taken, the Gudetama will vanish, and a pop-up message will confirm your discovery.Return this picture to Pochacco to complete the ‘Gudetama Snap’ quest.
Afterward, Pochacco will encourage you to continue snapping photos of Gudetama across the islands using his Camera. Once you capture a total of six pictures—including the first one requested for this quest—you can return to Pochacco, who will reward you with ‘The Laziest Egg’.
It’s worth noting that you can capture any Gudetama for this requirement. However, several are conveniently located nearby, allowing you to fulfill this task quickly.

- This is the Gudetama you photograph for ‘Gudetama Snap’, located right next to Pochacco’s workout spot in the central Resort Plaza.

- This Gudetama is peeking out from inside the sign of Hello Kitty’s Cafe, located to the left of the Plaza and My Melody’s shop.
3. Floating On A Tube Beneath A Nearby Waterfall
- This relaxed Gudetama can be found floating beneath the waterfall top-right of the main Plaza, just west of Chococat’s tent and the first Yellow Power Crystal ruins.
4. Under A Bacon Blanket By The Shore
- This chilly Gudetama can be found at the far southeast shore of the Seaside Resort island, trying to warm up under a cozy bacon blanket on a rock.

- Venture to the far left of the Seaside Resort and hop across the stepping stone-like islands to discover this mischievous, mustachioed Gudetama.
