Although the original game has been around for quite some time, the remake/sequel has only been available for a couple of years and is a must-play, even for those who have thoroughly explored the original title. Players looking to achieve completion can look forward to uncovering every unique ending in this fascinating experience.

Available Endings Before the Two Doors Room

The Reluctance Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe 427

The Reluctance Ending, often referred to as the Coward Ending, involves a rather straightforward action: closing the office door of Room 427. This leads to a brief exchange where the Narrator humorously chastises Stanley for his perceived cowardice before the game resets.

Despite its simplicity, players can easily overlook this ending. Importantly, there is no new dialogue generated if the bucket is brought along during this conclusion.

The Heaven Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Heaven END

Reaching the Heaven Ending requires multiple interactions with specific screens across different playthroughs. Upon completing the necessary actions, the last screen will replace Stanley’s monitor in Room 427, making it possible to access this ending right from the beginning of a new run.

For detailed guidance concerning monitor locations, refer to The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe Edition “Heaven Ending”guide. Note that, similar to the Reluctance Ending, no additional dialogue occurs if the bucket accompanies Stanley.

Out of Map Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Heaven 4

Players can traverse beyond the game’s designated area by leaving Stanley’s office and navigating to Desk 434 in the first open-plan space. Achieving a typical Stanley Parable milestone—an achievement or trophy—is possible through persistent jumping; alternatively, guiding Stanley onto the desk using the chair is a straightforward approach.

From that position, Stanley can be directed out of the window into the expansive void. Following this action, the Narrator humorously inquires whether the player has grown weary of the meta gag yet.

Choosing “YES”triggers the Narrator to sing a silly song, while selecting “NO”leads to a more contemplative monologue.

The Whiteboard Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Confusion

At times, the route to the Two Doors Room varies due to the semi-randomized design of The Stanley Parable’s maps. Instead of following the usual path from Stanley’s office, players might encounter a significantly altered layout.

These variations could either reverse the route or create a direct corridor to the Two Doors Room, sometimes adorned with a blue-themed design rather than the familiar bright lighting.

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Whiteboard

By exiting Stanley’s office and opening Room 426, players can achieve the Whiteboard Ending. Engaging with a unique box found on the whiteboard’s bottom right corner causes the amusing sound of barking dogs to resonate. Once again, no fresh Narrator dialogue emerges, nor does the optional bucket ending materialize.

All Left Door Ending Paths

The Insane Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Insane

Upon entering the Two Doors Room, players should take the left door and proceed down the stairs. This route leads Stanley into an infinite loop of rooms, enhanced by the Narrator’s witty commentary on the unusual environment.

This segment functions like a playable cutscene, culminating in a new ending scene that introduces an intriguing character named Mariella.

The Escape Pod Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Escape Pod

This ending is particularly notable because activating it causes the Narrator to vanish. After taking the left door and going upstairs to the Boss’s Office, players must briefly enter the office before retreating.

If executed correctly, the double doors will seal permanently, isolating Stanley while eliminating the Narrator’s dialogue. The next task is to navigate back to Room 427 and enter the newly accessible office door.

The Press Conference Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Press

To reach this ending, after entering the Two Doors Room, players should choose the left door, ascend the stairs, and access the Boss’s Office. Enter the numeric code provided by the Narrator (2845) to unlock an elevator.

Riding it downward presents the opportunity to repeatedly press the buttons, allowing the player to alternate between ascending and descending, eventually unveiling a fresh locale adorned with in-jokes and motivational posters about Stanley’s fictional press conference attended by a cheering audience.

The Museum Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe MCF Escape

Although it takes some time to reach, the path to the Museum Ending is relatively straightforward. Upon choosing the left door, ascend the stairs, enter the Boss’s Office, reveal the hidden passageway, and take the elevator down.

Exiting the elevator presents a choice between paths. Opting for the corridor labeled “ESCAPE”triggers a sequence where Stanley supposedly plummets into a perilous contraption, fortunately stopping just in time.

A new female Narrator intervenes, guiding Stanley through a museum that displays fascinating trivia and content about the development of The Stanley Parable.

“Bottom of the Mind Control Facility”Ending

From the start in Stanley’s office, proceed left at the Two Doors Room, navigate to the Boss’s Office, and access the hidden passageway to descend the elevator into the Mind Control Facility.

Instead of following the established catwalks, players can humorously choose to leap from the desk and chair with the lightbulb button, falling into the void below. While this was a glitch in the original game, the Narrator acknowledges this unexpected ending route.

The Countdown Ending

Achieving the Countdown Ending is relatively simple, yet the experience may mislead players. Starting from Stanley’s office, select the left door, ascend to the Boss’s office, access the secret passageway, and move down into the Mind Control Facility.

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe MCF Buttons

Upon arriving at the catwalks, players will reach a pair of buttons and should press the ON button for this outcome. For comprehensive insights on this ending, consult The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe Countdown Ending guide.

The Freedom Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Freedom

Regarded as the “real”ending of The Stanley Parable, this conclusion can only be achieved by meticulously adhering to every direction from the Narrator. Proceed through the left door, ascend the stairs, navigate the Boss’s Office, descend the elevator, enter the Mind Control Facility, and hit the OFF button.

Successfully attaining this ending is treated as completing the game, granting the player an associated achievement or trophy. In fact, speedrunning this specific path yields similar rewards.

All Right Door Ending Paths

The Confusion Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Confusion Elevator

Upon entering the Two Doors Room, players who opt for the right door will find themselves in the Employee Lounge. After departing the lounge, they should take the left door and descend the elevator.

This sequence leads directly to the designated ending, although further information can be located in The Confusion Ending Guide.

The Powerful/Cold Feet Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Cargo

Choosing to ignore the Narrator’s guidance will take Stanley to the Cargo Room, reached by going through the right door and moving straight ahead after exiting the Employee Lounge.

Jumping off the cargo lift or stepping off leads to Stanley’s demise, eliciting sarcastic commentary from the Narrator. The dialogue varies slightly based on the choice made, but the end result remains consistent.

The Vent Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Vent

A fresh addition to the Ultra Deluxe edition, the Vent Ending can be accessed upon reaching the Cargo Room. From Stanley’s starting office, select the right door, proceed straight ahead to the Cargo Room, and instead of using the lift, guide Stanley onto the ledge using a nearby plank.

This ending is particularly accessible while searching for the mini-Stanley figurines scattered throughout the game.

The Phone Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Phone

The Phone Ending can be pursued straightforwardly, disregarding the Narrator’s guidance toward a different room. From the Two Doors Room, players should proceed straight to the Cargo Room, board the lift, and wait as it transports to the opposite side.

Upon arrival, press onward until reaching a room featuring a phone. Interacting with it will teletransport Stanley home, delivering a rather nasty twist.

The Real Person Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Real Person

This pathway mirrors the Phone Ending but necessitates an unconventional action to access it. Following the Phone Ending route, players can choose to unplug the phone instead of answering it, leaving the Narrator bewildered.

Subsequently, a fictional public service announcement plays, and the Narrator instructs Stanley to return to the Two Doors Room. This leads to a series of gameplay loops as the Narrator endeavors to reconstruct the story.

The Zending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Zending

To achieve this story path, players must walk off the cargo lift onto the catwalk below while the Narrator is in mid-sentence. Following the new pathway reveals two doors: one red and one blue.

Obeying the Narrator and choosing the red door opens a fresh route, leading to an area illuminated by ethereal light and sound. The only escape from this ending is to jump repeatedly off a staircase while the Narrator provides darkly humorous commentary.

The Art Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Baby

Both the Art Ending and the Games Ending can only be accessed by venturing through the Blue Door instead of the Red Door.

The Narrator will continuously reset Stanley to the colored doors, insisting he choose the Red one. After three attempts, the Blue Door will be relocated behind Stanley, though it remains accessible.

Upon exploring the unfinished map areas, the Narrator presents an artistic game that subverts the premise of The Stanley Parable. The player is tasked with pressing a red button for an extended four-hour duration. While this may seem tedious, completionists may find it worthwhile.

Halfway through, the Narrator will introduce a secondary button that also requires pressing, culminating in a cutscene that illustrates the “essence of divine art”after the full four hours are completed.

The Games Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Firewatch

Players who repeatedly navigate through the Blue Door and fail the Baby Game will experience insults from the Narrator as they are taken to “someone else’s game”instead. Brief exploration of titles like Firewatch and Rocket League ensues before the Narrator abruptly changes course and deposits Stanley back into a dysfunctional office environment.

“Ultra Deluxe Edition”Endings

New Content Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe New Content

A random opportunity to access the New Content path arises after witnessing several endings. When it triggers, the door marked 416 before the Two Doors Room will change to display “NEW CONTENT.”Entering this door guides Stanley along a linear path that recounts a brief history of The Stanley Parable.

Skip Button Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Skip Button

This option leads players through a new locale known as The Memory Zone, which shares themes similar to the Museum Ending. Following the trail culminates at a room featuring a Skip Button.

Endlessly pressing this button will hasten the passage of time by skipping the Narrator’s dialogue. Eventually, after a series of activations, the ceiling will collapse, permitting Stanley’s escape.

The SEQUEL Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe New New Content

Following the comically underwhelming “NEW CONTENT”conclusion, navigating back through the corridors will eventually unveil a neon sign calling Stanley. Entering this door uncovers a new route crafted by the Narrator.

This leads to a preview of The Stanley Parable 2, showcasing the “Investor Expo”room filled with various set pieces intended for the forthcoming main game. Players can explore at their leisure, but upon completion, the Narrator resets the game, including the newly uncovered items.

The Whole Hole Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Mostly Infinite Hole

While traversing “The Stanley Parable 2″Expo, players may achieve another ending by heading toward the Infinite Hole section. Attaining this ending requires patience, as it relies on Stanley falling until reaching the bottom of the hole.

Once Stanley is teleported back to the top, he can recover the exploration but jumping back in reduces fall time. Continuous jumps eventually result in a shallow pit. The increasingly agitated Narrator begins scolding Stanley for “ruining”the hole, yet waiting allows the hole to expand over time.

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Hole

Gradually, on-screen prompts will arise, offering players the ability to modify their perspective, visual effects, background patterns, and character designs. Players are encouraged to tinker with these options freely before reverting to the starting point of the game.

The Figurines Ending

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Figurines

The Stanley Parable 2 Expo presents an opportunity for players to locate collectibles in the form of figurines resembling Stanley. The complete locations can be found in a dedicated guide. Collecting all six figurines results in the player being firmly locked into The Figurines Ending during the next reset of the game.

The Stanley Parable Reassurance Bucket Endings

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Reassurance Bucket

With its updated re-release, The Stanley Parable introduces an array of new content that enhances the original game’s meta endings. However, the outcomes of these paths can vary significantly depending on whether players choose to carry the “Stanley Parable Reassurance Bucket”or leave it behind.

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Bucket Blood

For instance, the Improved Escape Pod Ending or Out of Map ending takes surprising turns when players elect to bring the bucket along. When taken outside the game’s boundaries, the bucket imparts a dark backstory to Stanley before being met with a knife, leading to an intense and jarring experience for players.

The Stanley Parable Epilogue

The-Stanley-Parable---Ultra-Deluxe-Epilogue-1

Accessing the epilogue requires a bit of problem-solving that aligns with The Stanley Parable’s underlying meta-narrative. Players need to close and reopen the game multiple times, adjusting various sliders and time settings in the process.

After sufficient re-launches, an on-screen message prompts players that further discussions are forthcoming. Upon reaching the main menu, an option for the Epilogue gets introduced.

Upon selecting this option, players are treated to a playable scene that can be classified as an additional ending, complete with a bonus achievement or trophy activated.
