If the markers for the Geode and fish do not align favorably, a recommended strategy is to get the fish close to being caught, then switch focus to the treasure chest, and quickly return to the fish before the timer runs out.
Transforming Geodes into Artifacts
After successfully collecting a Geode, players must seek out Virelia in the Forgotten Deep—where players first encounter the Kraken. Virelia can crack open Geodes for a small fee, with the cracking process taking between 1 to 3 minutes, depending on the type of Geode.
Once you’ve donated the Geode to Virelia, you can venture off to continue your adventures while the timer counts down. When the time is up, the newly crafted Artifact will automatically be added to your inventory.
