Comprehensive Guide to Abyss Geodes and Artifacts

In the captivating realm of the trending Roblox fishing game, Abyss, players are not only in pursuit of elusive fish but also on a quest to discover hidden treasures. Among these treasures are Geodes, which serve a vital role in enhancing gameplay by providing powerful Artifacts that grant passive buffs to your character.

Discovering Geodes in Abyss

In Abyss, Geodes can manifest during your fishing expeditions. They appear as treasure chest markers on the progress bar while you attempt to catch fish. To successfully reel in a Geode, players must navigate the catch bar over the treasure chest until it gets a green tick mark.

It is crucial, however, to maintain focus on the fish you’re catching. If you prioritize the Geode too much, you risk losing your fish. To effectively collect both the treasure chest and the fish, players must succeed in the catching mini-game for both simultaneously.

Timing is essential—ensure you catch the Geode before reeling in the fish, or else the mini-game will conclude prematurely, leaving you without the Geode. If the markers for the Geode and fish do not align favorably, a recommended strategy is to get the fish close to being caught, then switch focus to the treasure chest, and quickly return to the fish before the timer runs out.

Transforming Geodes into Artifacts

After successfully collecting a Geode, players must seek out Virelia in the Forgotten Deep—where players first encounter the Kraken. Virelia can crack open Geodes for a small fee, with the cracking process taking between 1 to 3 minutes, depending on the type of Geode.

Once you’ve donated the Geode to Virelia, you can venture off to continue your adventures while the timer counts down. When the time is up, the newly crafted Artifact will automatically be added to your inventory.

Abyss Artifacts Overview

The Artifacts extracted from Geodes come with various buffs that remain active for as long as they are equipped. While many of these Artifacts have positive effects, some of the rare and powerful ones may also include drawbacks; for instance, an Artifact may enhance your gun’s damage but simultaneously reduce the amount of oxygen your tube can hold.

Below is a comprehensive list of Artifacts you can acquire in Abyss, including their respective Geode origins, rarity, chance of acquisition, and their stat enhancements:
