Comprehensive Warriors Quest Guide for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Comprehensive Warriors Quest Guide for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

In the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance (KCD), Henry may not have been the most skilled warrior, but through his adventurous journey after the Skalitz incident, he has evolved into a proficient fighter, adept in both unarmed and armed combat.

This newfound capability is likely why Jan Posy from Zimburg seeks Henry’s assistance during his visit to Bylany. This quest, while optional, promises not only thrilling combat experiences but also enticing rewards.

Given the quest’s emphasis on combat and the necessity of maintaining a stealthy approach, consulting this guide while undertaking the Bellatores quest will prove beneficial.

How to Initiate the Bellatores Quest

Riding Out With Jan Posy In KCD2

To set the Bellatores side quest in motion, travel to Bylany, located just southwest of Kuttenburg. For reference, it’s the same area where you previously ventured to retrieve a corpse from a pool of filth during the “The Devil’s Pack”quest.

Upon your arrival, you’ll encounter a distinguished individual outside the tavern who will beckon for your presence. He seeks someone courageous enough to join him in reclaiming his fortress from the Cumans, a task likely to pose significant danger.

Despite the inherent risks, Henry’s adventurous spirit encourages acceptance of such challenges, urging you to assist Jan Posy on this critical mission.

Once you agree, mount your horse and ride out to the ambush location alongside Jan Posy. Be advised that if you stray from the area and delay this quest, it will automatically fail. Thus, refrain from discussing matters with Jan until you are fully prepared to engage in this quest.

Confronting the Bandits

Your journey takes you to the site of a broken wagon where Jan’s men met their demise. Here, you will encounter bandits scavenging the remains.

Jan’s initial reaction may be one of anger and a desire for retribution; however, if you wish to avoid unnecessary violence, persuade him to show mercy. If he agrees, the bandits will retreat, recounting tales of his clemency.

Afterward, Jan instructs you to locate the priest who had traveled with them to Kuttenburg. You’ll discover the unfortunate priest near a body of water, resting against a tree—lifeless.

Following this grim discovery, Jan suggests looting the fallen, particularly recommending equipping a nearby halberd. While it boasts long-range capabilities, you may possess superior weapons by this point. Feel free to take it only if it aligns with your preferences.

It’s essential, however, to scavenge the area thoroughly, as there are valuable items, coins, and good armor to collect from the bodies. Once satisfied with your loot, inform Jan that you’re ready to pursue the Cumans.

Tracking Down the Cumans

The next segment of the quest unfolds fairly straightforwardly; simply follow Jan through the forest until you encounter a young woman named Fiolka.

Fiolka will inform you that the Cumans are holed up in the nearby ruins and will guide you in the right direction. Following Jan is paramount, as he will lead you to the Cuman hideout.

Upon arrival, you’ll find a considerable number of Cumans, necessitating a strategic approach. You have several options: you may choose to follow Jan’s aggressive plan, launching an assault to eliminate the archers, or opt for a stealthier, more cautious strategy.

Opting for stealth tends to yield better results; instruct Jan to hold his position to maintain your secrecy. Utilize a quiet approach to infiltrate the camp and rescue Miroslav, enhancing your chances of survival.

Should you successfully save Miroslav, Jan will provide him with a sword, enabling him to contribute during the ensuing battles. Take the sword and plot your course through the Cumans carefully.

Strategies for Rescuing Miroslav

Even though sneaking in through the back of the ruins might seem appealing, such a route does not exist. Instead, you must forge a path directly through the camp.

For optimal results, attempt this part of the quest at night to minimize your chances of detection, and ensure to reassure Mutt to remain behind, as his presence could compromise your stealth.

Exercise caution when attempting stealth kills—given the heavily armed nature of the Cumans, many attempts could result in sound alerts to nearby enemies.

The most effective tactic involves luring guards away from their positions by tossing pebbles. Once this is accomplished, Miroslav will be found bound behind a small archway beyond the camp.

Approach silently, free him, and arm him promptly. However, be prepared for potential conflicts as your movements will likely attract enemy attention.

Engaging the Cumans

Confronting the Cumans can be challenging, and without careful maneuvering, you risk being overwhelmed quickly.

As soon as Miroslav is freed, I recommend rushing out of the enclosure, zeroing in on the guard at the exit. Quick strikes will give you an upper hand and allow you to eliminate them swiftly.

Be prepared for multiple Cumans to converge upon you; targeting the unarmed foes first will keep you from being encumbered while you tackle the better-armed adversaries.

After fending off the initial wave, focus on tactics rather than brute strength, staying close to Miroslav and Jan to avert being surrounded.

Upon defeating the last Cuman at the ruins, take a moment to discuss the next steps with Jan and Miroslav as you take control of the area.

If you find yourself outnumbered, consider retreating to regain an undetected status before regrouping. However, take caution, as Jan and Miroslav may vanish if you stray too far.

Rewards for Warriors

Upon completion of the quest, Jan and Miroslav will graciously reward you with 500 Gloschen and an entertaining story about Miroslav’s personal grooming rituals.

Don’t overlook the opportunity to loot the chests within the camp and all the fallen Cumans, as these areas are rich with valuable items, armor, and Gloschen that will benefit your future endeavors.

Subsequently, you will unlock a follow-up quest, but you’ll need to wait a few in-game days before returning to the ruins to initiate it.
