In Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the game is rich with opportunities for adventure, especially if players seek out side quests. One particularly intriguing quest arises in the Chemical Plant area, where players have the chance to confront a formidable mutant known as the Pseudogiant. During this quest, Vadyk Firecracker provides Skif with the coordinates to a hidden stash containing valuable loot, making the challenge worthwhile.
Initiating the Vadyk Firecracker Quest

To kick off the quest, players should locate Vadyk Firecracker in Bloodsucker Village, situated just west of the Chemical Plant. Upon entering the desolate village, Skif will receive a call from Vadyk seeking assistance. Continue along the main road until a distinctive white house with a missing rooftop comes into view; Vadyk will be perched atop it.
During their interaction, Vadyk will explain that a menacing mutant is nearby, forcing him to seek refuge on the roof. After discussing the situation, he will request Skif’s help in eliminating the creature. Agreeing to assist him initiates the quest, as Vadyk plans to draw the mutant out by playing a tune on his guitar.
Confronting the Pseudogiant

As Vadyk begins to play, the Pseudogiant bursts onto the main road from the surrounding houses, charging straight at Skif. To effectively combat this menace, players should seek higher ground to shoot from a distance. This tactical advantage significantly increases the chances of survival.
For those unable to find an elevated position, agility is key. Players must dodge the Pseudogiant’s signature shoulder charge, which can quickly incapacitate them. Employing side dodges proves effective against most of the mutant’s aggressive attacks.
Once victorious over the Pseudogiant, make your way back to Vadyk, who will reward you with the coordinates to his hidden stash filled with valuable items.
Locating Vadyk Firecracker’s Stash

Vadyk Firecracker’s stash can be found north of Bloodsucker Village, along the riverbank. Navigate to the indicated coordinates and search for a pier or dock. Underneath this structure, players will find a duffle bag containing the promised loot.
Inside Vadyk’s stash, you can expect to find:
- Grom-S14 Assault Rifle Weapon – a powerful firearm suitable for tackling intricate challenges.
- High Capacity Grom-S14 Magazine Attachment – increases the ammunition capacity for sustained fire.
- Consumables like beverages and medkits, vital for survival in the Zone.
Embarking on this quest not only enhances your arsenal but also adds to the immersive experience in the unpredictable world of Stalker 2.
