- Survive the challenges posed in The Labs and extract safely while maintaining the “Survived” status.
1. Finding the Blood Sample in The Labs
To locate the blood sample, head towards the newly opened section of The Labs. Exercise caution, as hostile PMCs will be lurking throughout the area. Navigate through the hallway adjacent to the Blue keycard room and press onward. Just beyond the stairway leading to the upper and lower floors, keep going past the door that grants access to the new area.
Entering this new zone, you will spot a small room. Proceed inside to find a button that will unlock the main area containing the blood sample.
Once inside, continue to the far end of the room and make a right turn. Here, you will encounter the corpse of a scientist clad in a yellow hazmat suit positioned near a door. Examine the area right beneath his left shoulder where you will find a pool of blood. Carefully hover your cursor and collect the blood sample to complete the first portion of the quest.
2. Surviving and Extracting from The Labs
The subsequent challenge is to extract from The Labs successfully. Keep in mind that enemies will continue to spawn indefinitely, so it’s crucial to familiarize yourself with your extraction points to identify the most accessible option.
If available, consider utilizing an SJ6 injector coupled with a Zagustin. The SJ6 enhances your stamina, while the Zagustin halts any potential bleeding, allowing you to withstand hits from the zombies without losing health over time.
Once you’ve made it to safety and extracted, don’t forget to deliver the blood sample to Jaeger, thereby completing the quest.
