Complete List of Outlier Tacet Discords in Wuthering Waves

Outlier Tacet Discords are exciting new additions introduced in version 1.3 of Wuthering Waves. These advanced versions of the standard Tacet Discords offer richer rewards upon their first defeat, including multiple Supply Chests and unique Trophies. In total, there are five Outlier Tacet Discords located in the new The Black Shores area, encompassing both The Black Shores Archipelago and the Tethys’ Deep regions.

Unlocking Outlier Tacet Discords in Wuthering Waves

To unlock an Outlier Tacet Discord, you need to upgrade your Data Hub. Each upgrade to the Data Hub unlocks one Outlier Tacet Discord. Once you achieve Level 5, all five Outlier Tacet Discords will become available to challenge.

Outlier Tacet Discords in Wuthering Waves: Locations, tips, and rewards

Defeating an Outlier Tacet Discord for the first time rewards players with three types of Supply Chests: one Standard, one Advanced, and one Premium Supply Chest. This translates to a potential total of 70 Astrites from a single defeat, and up to 350 Astrites from defeating all five Outlier Tacet Discords.

Additionally, each defeat grants one unique Trophy within Wuthering Waves version 1.3, totaling five Trophies for conquering all the Outlier Tacet Discords. Below are the locations and strategies for defeating the five Outlier Tacet Discords:

1) Outlier Tacet Discord #1: Hedgepuff

This Outlier Tacet Discord is an upgraded version of the Common Class Gulpuff. Hedgepuff is notably large and resilient, located in the TD Observatory area of The Black Shores Archipelago.

It can create giant bubbles that will trap you, immobilizing you and reducing your HP. Be prepared to dodge these attacks to avoid being caught. Upon defeating the Hedgepuff, you’ll receive the Footprints of the Shores I trophy titled “Giant Balloon.“

2) Outlier Tacet Discord #2: Blazing Cutlass

This Outlier Discord is an enhanced version of the Common Class Fusion Warrior and is found in the southern section of The Black Shores Archipelago. It wields dual blades, and its attacks are significantly more powerful than its standard counterpart.

Avoid its rapid attacks and look for openings to counterattack. Defeating the Blazing Cutlass will earn you the Footprints of the Shores I trophy “A Fight For The Best, A Fight To The Death.“

3) Outlier Tacet Discord #3: Cyclone Swarm

The Cyclone Swarm Outlier Tacet Discord is formed by a cluster of Cruisewings that create a challenging team. While individual Cruisewings pose little threat, together they become much more dangerous. They can be found in the Bank of Life area in Tethys’ Deep.

The key to defeating this swarm is to group them up. Characters with AoE attacks are especially effective against this enemy. Defeating the Cyclone Swarm will reward you with the Footprints of the Shores I trophy “Mission Impossible.“

4) Outlier Tacet Discord #4: Tambourine Duo

Located southwest of the Modulation Hall in Tethys’ Deep, the Tambourine Duo consists of two Tambourinist Tacet Discords that perform coordinated attacks.

They are not overly tanky, making them relatively easy to defeat with strong DPS characters. Upon victory, you will earn the Footprints of the Shores I trophy “Bells, Solitude and Solaris-3.“

5) Outlier Tacet Discord #5: Alptop Champion

The Alptop Champion is an enhanced Elite Class Rocksteady Guardian Tacet Discord, found in the Eidoscape region of Tethys’ Deep. Known for its high durability, it delivers powerful attacks.

Ensure you dodge its strikes and utilize your strongest DPS characters along with a healer/buffer to emerge victorious. Defeating the Alptop Champion rewards you with the Footprints of the Shores I trophy “Cataclysm.“
