Gaining Access to Hunter’s March

The entrance to Hunter’s March is situated in The Marrow. To reach it, board the Bell Beast and make your way right to the end of the path, descending into the pit below.

Upon entering the door at the bottom, you’ll confront the guardian, an imposing foe named Skarrgard. His powerful strikes and lengthy reach make him a tough adversary. However, by watching for his burrowing moves, you can find openings to strike before darting away to avoid damage.

Once Skarrgard is defeated, you can safely enter the Hunter’s March.

Clearing the Combat Arena

Upon entering Hunter’s March, having the Cling Grip allows for a quick ascent on the wall. If you lack this ability, utilize downward slashes to bounce off bulbs to reach higher platforms.

Immediately, you’ll face an ant on the upper platform. Defeat it swiftly, but stay alert for a flying ant that will pursue you. After eliminating this foe and avoiding the spikes, free a trapped flea before choosing the right path at the split.

Advance to the next area, where you have two options: ascend to the upper platform, entering the alcove on the left to gather a collection of rosaries, or face enemies lurking on the lower path. The upper route is advisable, although you will need to deal with an aggressive ant general—timing your strikes during his down attack will help you emerge victorious.

Continue to the next screen, where an arena awaits. Fortunately, you will encounter familiar enemies, making this segment manageable with learned strategies.

Finding the Cache of Rosaries

After passing through the arena, bounce to the top platform to eliminate an ant and collect silk from the alcove above. Transition across the lower platforms where foes are easier to manage while avoiding traps found above.

Locating the Chapel of the Beast

With the Drifter’s Cloak, the subsequent jumps become relatively straightforward; otherwise, you can always bounce over to navigate successfully. Eliminate the ant swordsman and continue across, ignoring the gust of wind for the moment.

Hop over to the end platform, break the cage for a Memory Locket, then ride the wind upwards. Navigate right and use the bulbs to bounce into the wind, proceeding right until you can bounce across to the left to reach the top platform.

Continue left, carefully descending with the Drifter’s Cloak, avoiding spikes as you proceed. Upon reaching the base, you’ll contend with enemies, including a floating bug with a scissor attack, which is manageable with proper timing.

Cross the gap, where a small bug with a shield made of daggers patrols. Evade his attacks while striking back and gracefully drift down to unlock the bone door, making your final approach to the boss much easier.
