Complete Guide to Unlock Locations in Where Winds Meet Mystic Arts

The Mystic Arts play a pivotal role in the immersive experience of Where Winds Meet, a Wuxia-inspired title. These enchanting martial arts techniques offer players versatile applications, both in battle and exploration. They not only enable stylish combat but also aid in uncovering hidden treasures and completing various challenges scattered throughout the expansive world.

As you embark on your journey as a young lord, your initial task is to gather sufficient experience to unlock these unique Mystic Arts. You can acquire a Mystic Art by either aligning with a Sect to master their exclusive techniques or by observing a master in action to perform a Skill Steal.

Nature often serves as the muse for many Mystic Arts. For instance, you may find inspiration from a Tai Chi-practicing bear attempting to knock down a beehive or the energetic antics of an aggressive goose.

Utilizing Mystic Arts in Where Winds Meet

The Mystic Arts can be harnessed in combat and in the wild, assigned to a separate hot-wheel from your primary weapon arts.

To activate a Mystic Art, simply press and hold the R2/RT button on your controller, then select the appropriate face button (Cross, Circle, Square, Triangle/A, B, X, Y) to execute the skill.

After unlocking the second wheel of Mystic Art slots, you can seamlessly switch between your two sets of equipped Mystic Arts using the d-pad or directional buttons.

Some Mystic Arts are classed as “passive, ” meaning they are always active without the need for manual selection, such as the stealth attack known as the Touch of Death.

Movement abilities that allow for flight also fall under the Mystic Arts category. To activate these, hold the jump button; however, certain prerequisites must be met, including achieving Map Exploration Level 4 in the designated region.

Equipping Mystic Arts in Where Winds Meet

Surprisingly, you have the capacity to equip up to eight Mystic Arts at once.

To equip a new Mystic Art, access your “Develop” Menu by pressing the options button and navigating to it on the wheel, then select the Mystic Art option located at the bottom.

Within this menu, you can choose which Mystic Arts to assign to each slot, tailoring your abilities to your play style.

Unlocking Additional Mystic Arts Slots in Where Winds Meet

Unlocking Mystic Arts requires developing your martial skills first, enabling the ability to wield multiple techniques simultaneously.

To gain more Mystic Arts slots, you must purchase them using Talent Points obtainable through the character upgrade track, which is also found in the “Develop” menu. Completing quests and participating in world activities will earn you Talent Points.

Progressing along the Talent track not only allows you to learn new skills and passive enhancements but also periodically unlocks additional Mystic Arts slots.

Eventually, you will reach a progression point in the Talent track that necessitates an increase in your World Tier to continue advancing. Each World Tier features a level cap to ensure a balanced challenge. For example, unlocking certain sections of the Talent track may require you to reach World Tier 3, which is achievable at character level 20, and so on.

As you journey forward and cultivate your strength as a warrior, you will amass enough Talent Points to eventually acquire up to eight Mystic Arts at once.
