Complete Guide to The Sims 4 Forever Friends Event: Participation Details and Rewards Explained

The Sims 4 has launched a new, time-limited event called the Forever Friends, coinciding with the recent introduction of the Adventure Awaits expansion pack. In celebrating the iconic life simulation game’s 11th anniversary, this latest installment offers a renewed focus on childhood experiences, particularly the lasting connections young Sims can form with their cherished toys. Although it draws on the upcoming Imaginary Friend feature, this event can be fully enjoyed by players without any additional DLC, making it accessible to everyone.

Overview of the Forever Friends Event

The Forever Friends event is set to run from September 23rd to November 4th, 2025. The first month will introduce a series of weekly quests alongside unique reward unlocks, followed by a grace period of two weeks for players to complete any outstanding tasks.

Upon logging into the game, the event commences automatically. Players can track their progress, including active, completed, and upcoming quests, by clicking on the event widget, represented by a plumbob symbol, located in the top left corner. Although this interface cannot be entirely dismissed, it can be minimized for convenience.

Rewards consist of various common in-game items like satisfaction points and potions, as well as a new collectible type, magnets. When players claim these rewards, they will be added directly to the inventory of the active Sim, while certain rewards such as new Build/Buy items and exclusive recipes will be accessible across all their game saves.
