This quest does not involve any crafting or cooking; rather, players must explore the Agrabah Realm to find the required items. Completing the Monkey Business quest is essential for players aspiring to unlock Aladdin, Jasmine, and the Magic Carpet, pivotal characters in the game.

How to Initiate the Monkey Business Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Aladdin's Amulet in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To start the Monkey Business quest, you must first complete the Brave the Storm quest by speaking with Aladdin. He reveals that he has stumbled upon an ancient amulet and suggests taking it to Jasmine because it’s inscribed in a forgotten language. Once you present the amulet to Jasmine, she notes that it has three empty slots for gemstones that need to be filled to activate its magical powers.

Next, climb the wooden plank nearby and head right to find some rotten fruits. Use the Royal Watering Can to clear away the debris and engage with the monkeys. These clever critters possess the precious gemstones but will only part with them in exchange for Golden Bananas. After discussing this with Aladdin, he guides you to search the market for these elusive bananas.

Finding Golden Bananas in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Golden Banana Location #1

From the spot where the monkeys are located, turn right and use the Pickaxe to remove the rocks obstructing the path to find the first Golden Banana.

Golden Banana Location #2

Return to Agrabah’s entrance where you first arrived, move left to climb a plank, and walk until you reach another plank on the right, next to a chest blocked by rocks. At the balcony overlooking the fountain, break the rocks to retrieve the second Golden Banana.

Golden Banana Location #3

From the balcony, continue through the archway and descend the stairs to the right. Turn again to the right to reach the fountain area, where a rock formation encircles the last Golden Banana. Destructively clear the rocks to claim your third Golden Banana.

After acquiring the three Golden Bananas, return to the monkeys and exchange them for gemstones. Take these gemstones back to Aladdin, who will set them into the amulet’s empty slots. With the amulet now empowered to protect against sandstorms, players can equip it to navigate through storms near the monkeys and retrieve an Ancient Tome. Presenting this tome to Aladdin will conclude the Monkey Business quest and set in motion the Breaking Through quest.
