The enchanting adventure of Jack and the Beanstalk has culminated in the delightful expansion of Grow a Garden, where fairies ignite magic in your outdoor spaces. The Fairy Godmother has arrived, ready to help you fulfill your wishes with an array of exciting new seeds and pets. This magical Fairies event also unveils a leveling-up mechanic, though navigating through the intricacies of these new features might seem a bit perplexing.
Understanding the Fairy Event in Grow a Garden
The Fairy event is a captivating, limited-time weather feature in Grow a Garden that activates every hour. As soon as it begins, the sky transforms into a deep purple hue, illuminating the play area with sparkling stars and fairies fluttering around.
This event lasts for 10 minutes (with the possibility of extending this through Fairy upgrades) during which a fairy appears in your garden, bestowing the Glimmering mutation upon random fruits.

Players can also encounter Roaming Fairies, who wander the play area. When a fairy spawns, an announcement will alert you to its presence. By interacting with it, you can guide the fairy to your garden, where it will add the Glimmering mutation to a random fruit.
Interestingly, you don’t need to be actively playing to benefit from this event, as fairies can also appear while you’re offline, ensuring your garden continues to flourish with this enchanting mutation.
Exploring the New Glimmering Mutation in Grow a Garden

Once the Glimmering mutation is applied to your crops, you can present them at the Wishing Well for Fairy Points and additional rewards. You can achieve this mutation by staying active during the Fairies event or by utilizing the Glimmering Sprite pet, Glimmering Mutation Spray, or Glimmering Pet mutation. Additionally, fairies are known to visit your garden even when you’re not logged in, making it unnecessary to monitor your status constantly during the event.
Utilizing the Wishing Well in Grow a Garden

The Wishing Well serves as the hub for the latest Fairy Event update in Grow a Garden, allowing players to submit Glimmering mutation crops. By completing tasks, players can earn Fairy Points and rewards (refer to the list below).
Earning Fairy Points

Submitting Glimmering plants earns you Fairy Points that vary based on the rarity of the crops. Additionally, submitting the specified plants indicated above the Wishing Well will grant extra points. Players can also accrue more points through Wishing Well rewards, which are essential for upgrading fairies via the Fairy Godmother.
Rewards from the Wishing Well

By completing tasks, players can choose one reward from a selection of three offered at the Wishing Well. There are five tiers of obtainable rewards, and players have the option to reroll their selection once if the initial rewards are not to their liking.
Each player is entitled to five wishes daily, with the possibility of restarting tasks using Fairy Points or Robux. Here’s a breakdown of the available Wishing Well rewards:
- Enchanted Seed Pack
- Fairy Targeter
- Aurora Comes
- Glimmering Mutation Spray
- Enchanted Egg
- Glimmering Pet Shard
- Glimmering Radar
- Fairy Points
- Enchanted Crate
Engaging with the Fairy Godmother and Fairy Upgrades

After accumulating Fairy Points, players can approach the Fairy Godmother to spend them on upgrades. There are four distinct upgrade options available, with the costs increasing as you progress. Understanding the benefits of each upgrade is vital for maximizing your potential in the event.
Here’s what’s on offer for upgrades at the Fairy Godmother during the Fairy Event:
- Glimmer Multiplier: Boost the quantity of Fairy Points earned from Glimmering crops.
- Roaming Fairy Spawn Amount: Increase the number of Roaming Fairies in the lobby area.
- Fairy Event Duration: Extend the time of the Fairy event.
