Complete Guide to the Avalon Map in Warzone: Key Information and Insights

Since the release of Black Ops 6, many players within the Call of Duty community have been buzzing about the rumored Avalon map in Warzone. Notably, a portion of this map is believed to be incorporated into the Lowtown map featured in the current title. Players have the chance to explore this rumored area, and in a post on X, user @Lightsfire_ provided insights on how to navigate there by adjusting some in-game settings.

This article is dedicated to summarizing everything we currently know about the Avalon map in Warzone.

Exploring the Avalon Map in Warzone

According to the video shared by Lightsfire_ on X, players can explore the Avalon map by initiating a Private match in Black Ops 6. As detailed by the user, the process starts by choosing the Lowtown map and extending the time limit to 45 minutes to facilitate full exploration. Importantly, players should add one bot on the map to prevent the game from crashing.

After that, players must set themselves as the CoDCaster to oversee the match while disabling all visual settings to avoid displaying the CoDCaster interface during exploration. Furthermore, adjusting the camera movement settings according to personal preferences will allow players to examine parts of the Avalon map from an aerial perspective in Black Ops 6.

It’s worth noting that since the map has not been fully rendered, players may encounter various blurry textures. A Redditor by the name of u/Dull-Caterpillar3153 leaked an image that outlines all the Point of Interest (POI) scattered throughout the Avalon map in Warzone. They suggest that several iconic locations from previous Black Ops titles, including Firing Range, Hacienda, and WMD, might make an appearance.

As of now, it remains unclear when Activision plans to introduce the Avalon map to Warzone. Recently, in a Call of Duty update, the developers rolled out the Area 99 map as part of the Resurgence mode. Moreover, Activision has confirmed that Verdansk will be making a return to Warzone in Spring 2025.

Thus, there is a chance that players could see the Avalon map debut following the return of Verdansk in 2025. If this occurs, the Avalon map could potentially be the largest in Warzone. In the meantime, players are encouraged to stay patient and await official announcements. They can also look ahead to the first season of Warzone and Black Ops 6, set to commence on November 14, 2024.
