In the expansive world of Metaphor ReFantazio, players can explore a plethora of activities independent from the main storyline. These enjoyable diversions include fishing, engaging in discussions, tackling optional dungeons, and much more. One of the highlights among these activities is completing Favours, which serve as side quests that yield valuable rewards and gear.
A specific Favor known as Deeds and Diversions can be initiated in Port Brilehaven by interacting with a non-player character (NPC).
Guide to Completing the Deeds and Diversions Favor in Metaphor ReFantazio
To start, visit the Nightprowler located in Port Brilehaven. You will meet an NPC referred to as the Overfamiliar Man waiting outside, ready for a conversation. Upon speaking with him, he will reveal that a loan vendor has taken his valuable Deed, which he has yet to receive back even after settling his debts.
It’s essential to understand that before progressing any further in this Favor, you must complete the Superior Scrimshaw quest. The Overfamiliar Man will give you a vague hint, suggesting you seek out an Ishkia Noble who has “a certain fondness for, shall we say, bloodsport.”
You can locate this Noble in the Varmareno Coliseum, just a short distance from the reception area. He will refuse to engage if approached without having completed the required quest, halting your progress in this Favor. Once you’ve fulfilled the prerequisites, respond to his inquiries as follows:
- “You know me, I trust?”
- “Such a tawdry area, this,”
- “I prefer real fights.”
- “You know the Forsaken Tower?”
- “I’d like the Deed.”
The last two responses will only be available after completing the Superior Scrimshaw quest. Once you’ve selected the final response, the Noble will hand over the crucial Deed. With this in hand, return to the Overfamiliar Man and present the Deed to him. In gratitude for your efforts, he will reward you with 10,000 Reeves and a Chef’s Toque.
