Cooking is one of the seven engaging hobbies offered in Heartopia, an upcoming free-to-play life simulation game that is currently in closed beta with a full release slated for 2026. Each hobby features its own unique collections, encouraging players to engage in specific activities to complete them. For Cooking enthusiasts, this entails discovering and mastering recipes to fill out their cooking collection.
While Heartopia boasts an extensive catalog for its collections, there are some challenges, particularly regarding Cooking recipes. Until all recipe variants are crafted, players may find it difficult to distinguish between variants and entirely new recipes. Additionally, ingredient requirements can be somewhat unclear until you unlock them.
Below, you will find our ongoing Heartopia Cooking recipes list, which aims to assist you in uncovering the full array of culinary delights within the game.

How to Cook in Heartopia
To create a recipe in Heartopia, players must interact with a stove and place the required ingredients into designated slots when prompted. A stove is conveniently located outside of Massimo’s restaurant in the town center. Additionally, players receive a stove for their home after unlocking the Cooking hobby, along with a blueprint to craft more should they desire.
During the cooking process, players will see arrows next to ingredient slots indicating that substitutions can be made. This feature allows you to swap out ingredients within the same category, utilizing different qualities if available.
Be prepared for Quick Time Events (QTEs), which appear as a circular cooking icon that will gain a green outline and start a timer. It’s crucial to click or tap the icon before the timer runs out to prevent your dish from overheating, which could result in a lower quality score. Interestingly, even a salad can be burnt in Heartopia!
Although the QTEs are relatively forgiving, as you increase your Cooking hobby level, the complexity of your recipes will entail managing more QTEs per dish. For example, while Level 1 recipes only require one QTE, higher levels may require you to navigate through two or three challenges during preparation!
