Understanding the Functionality of the Friendship Pot
Upon acquiring the Friendship Pot, players will find it unlinked, meaning it cannot be placed in their gardens until it is connected with another player’s pot. You can do this by either linking your pot with a friend’s or vice versa. This linkage results in both players receiving a linked pot in their inventory. Follow these steps to successfully utilize the Friendship Pot:
1. Linking Your Friendship Pot
- Hold the Pot in your hand and approach a friend or any available player in the game. A prompt will appear, instructing you to press the ‘E‘ key to initiate the linking process.
- If your friend accepts the request, your pot will successfully link, and they will gain access to a pot labelled with your username.
2. Placing the Friendship Pot
- Both players can now position their pots in any unoccupied area of their gardens by left-clicking.
- Each must then visit the other’s garden regularly to tend to their respective pots.
3. Collaborative Care for Friendship Pots
Once the pots are correctly linked, a distinctive green stem will begin to grow diagonally from each pot. Players will notice a timer displayed above the pot, indicating when they can next tend to it.
Once the timer elapses, both players can log in and care for each other’s pots, thereby maintaining their streak. It’s important to note that a secondary timer will also be activated, indicating how much longer each player can tend to the pots before they reset.
As players continue to nurture the pots, they will observe the growth stages from the diagonal stem to budding flowers, eventually leading to a vertical stem with additional blooming flowers. This cyclical growth adds a dynamic aspect to the gameplay.
