Complete Guide to Finding Lost Luggage in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Complete Guide to Finding Lost Luggage in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Following an unfortunate landing in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, several residents have misplaced their luggage, and your mission is to assist them in recovering it throughout Big Adventures Park. Among the ten initial residents, only seven characters are missing their luggage, and locating these items will not be straightforward, as most will require tools and abilities that you will unlock later in the game.

To enhance your chances of retrieving the luggage, concentrate on building friendship levels with Hello Kitty and her fellow Sanrio characters. After discovering a piece of luggage, you’ll need to match it to its owner using the identification tags. Regular gift-giving will simplify this matching process.

Badtz-maru’s luggage is the easiest to find in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, requiring no special tools or major progression. Simply complete the “Power Up The Gate”quest with Chococat, which becomes available as you raise your friendship levels with him. This unlocks access to the Spooky Swamp, where you can find Kuromi and Keroppi.

You will locate Badtz-maru’s luggage in the northernmost section of Spooky Swamp, where it appears as a small box with wings rather than traditional luggage. Once you’ve collected it, return it to Badtz-maru, often seen on the dock near the plaza.

While Chococat’s luggage is technically easy to spot in the main resort area, you won’t be able to reach it immediately. Instead of being scattered on the ground, Chococat’s luggage floats in a pond south of his crafting station. Attempting to access it without Flippers will result in immediate removal from the water.

To obtain the Flippers, you must first raise your friendship with Keroppi. After unlocking the Spooky Swamp, head to the southern area to meet Keroppi, present him with My Melody’s welcoming gift, and he will provide you the crafting plans and fins. Once you acquire the strap through the quest guide, you’ll be able to create the Flippers and retrieve the luggage.

Rather than being found in the water, Hangyodon’s luggage is situated on Gemstone Mountain. To access this area, you can either use the Spooky Swamp zipline at the northern end or walk along the beach path, though swimming is also an option.

Once you reach Gemstone Mountain, remember to interact with a fast-travel mailbox for easier returns. To find the luggage, head southwest, near the wooden path leading to Mount Hothead. The luggage is located on a small cliff that overlooks the beach, slightly east of the wooden path.

Although navigating Mount Hothead can be challenging, recovering My Melody’s luggage is straightforward once you’ve located Retsuko. The luggage is positioned slightly east of the first fast-travel mailbox, conveniently located on the same level as the Pizza Oven.

The Pizza Oven is a valuable resource for crafting 3-heart gifts, especially for Badtz-Maru, who favors the Ultimate Joke Pizza. Unlike other appliances, it’s available for immediate use as long as you have dough, which can be gifted by Retsuko.

Look for a small grassy area near the Mount Hothead mailbox, along the ledge that overlooks the shore, which is where you’ll find the luggage. If you’re heading to Mount Hothead, the quickest route is west from the main island, via Moon Island and other small islands; however, you will need Flippers as there is no direct path if you go this way. Alternatively, take the scenic route around Spooky Swamp and Gemstone Mountain.

3 Kuromi’s Lost Luggage

Unlock The Snorkel By Befriending Kuromi

To recover Kuromi’s luggage, you’ll need a Snorkel, which she provides once you enhance her friendship levels. After completing the Deep Dive quest, Kuromi will request you to find an item from the bottom of a nearby pond. Upon retrieval, she will reclaim her Snorkel but share the crafting plans with you. You will need Sparks to craft the Snorkel, most easily obtained from Kuromi’s stone friendship gift.

The Snorkel remains active while you are in the water, allowing you to dive without the need to equip it. Be sure to dive in deep enough water to see the Snorkel icon on your screen. With the Snorkel ready, head south of Hangyodon’s comedy club and just north of the end of the dock near Chococat, where you can locate Kuromi’s luggage resting on the ocean floor.

Like Kuromi’s luggage, Hello Kitty’s can also be found underwater, though it requires more effort to locate. Kuromi’s luggage is easier to find due to its proximity to map markers and an underwater fast travel point, making it simpler than finding Hello Kitty’s, which requires a more diligent search.

You might want to consider having additional stamina or wearing one of the mermaid outfits to prolong your underwater time. With extended undersea capabilities, make your way to the southern shore of Gemstone Mountain. From this location, jump into the water just west of the southern dock, where you’ll discover Hello Kitty’s luggage on a small underwater ledge along the wall.

1 Keroppi’s Lost Luggage

Climb To The Top Of Mount Hothead

Keroppi’s luggage may prove to be the last piece needed for completion, as it lies at the summit of Mount Hothead, also known as Caldera. Although it is possible to try and ascend early, doing so may lead to frustration. It’s advisable to wait until you possess at least one extra stamina wheel before attempting the climb, although having two would be ideal given the challenge.

Using Stamina Apples to boost your endurance, along with the aid of Kuromi’s potions or the climbing abilities of other residents, such as Pekkle’s faster climbing speed or Cinnamaroll’s balloon boost, will ease the journey.

Once you’re prepared, you can ascend Mount Hothead. The main path winds up the northeastern side, but if your stamina is limited, try the southwestern route instead. While the latter is not a designated climbing route, it is often easier. At the summit, you will discover Keroppi’s luggage situated on the eastern edge of the peak.
