4 Iron
The Human Shadow

Iron, originally known as Kim Chul, was a notable high-ranked hunter who initially exuded an air of authority as a supposed leader among his peers. Unfortunately, his true character emerged when confronted with life-threatening dangers, particularly during an encounter with elves that led to the demise of his allies. Viewing Jin-Woo, who was still an E-rank hunter, as an obstacle, Iron attempts to eliminate him amid the chaos.
However, after a furious battle with the elves, Jin-Woo grants Iron a second chance at life, transforming him into a vital asset in his Shadow Army. Iron retains his original strength as Kim Chul but gains enhanced resilience and improved combat skills as part of Jin-Woo’s growing force.
5 Tank and the Iced Bears
The Red Gate Horror
- First Appearance: Season 2, Episode 2
During a routine raid, a seemingly innocuous C-rank gate unexpectedly transforms into a Red Gate, a treacherous one-way dungeon that traps hunters inside until they defeat all enemies or perish. Within this harrowing environment, Jin-Woo and the remaining hunters confront Ice Elves and Ice Bears. For Jin-Woo, this ordeal is another opportunity to sharpen his skills and grow stronger.
Jin-Woo faces the Ice Bears head-on, swiftly vanquishing them with ease. When the alpha Ice Bear attacks, it meets a swift defeat at Jin-Woo’s hands. Afterward, he resurrects the alpha and incorporates it, along with the lesser Ice Bears, into his ever-expanding Shadow Army.
